A taste of Ecuador - You could probably spend a month in Ecuador and still not see everything. With us having only 12 nights and visiting the Galapagos and the Amazon, I booked a few day trips- this one to experience Cotopaxi and Banos. A very knowledgeable Pedro picked us up and took us to the mountain. Not only could he explain details of the flora & fauna, he also gave us the folklore around the man (mountain) and his girlfriends (other volcanoes). Banos was a quaint little town and we went to a cable car over a river. At lunch I was surprised with a birthday cake (thank you again). And the highlight of the tour - the Devil’s cauldron, a simply spectacular waterfall. If you have the time, visit these on separate days. But it you want a little taster, I highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend this tour and our guide Veronica and our driver Carolina. - We enjoyed what we saw and did in this trip. Our guide and driver were very nice and helpful to us. Our guide Veronica speaks fluent English. She provided us with lots of interesting information about the trip and Quito and Ecuador. On the way to each stop, she took us to different places to try different local and tasty food and snacks. She gave us ample time to enjoy the views and took lots of photos and videos for us as well. Our driver Carolina is really good driver. She gave us a very smooth ride through the day. Carolina took nice photos too. Veronica and Carolina have made this enjoyable trip possible.
