Very personal tour! Learnt alot and had a great time - Awesome experience! We went along with Charles to multiple wineries where he was able to share his vast knowledge of wines and the local history of Barossa. Day was well structured and went to a variety of vineyards based on what Charles thought we would be interested in. He’s a great chatter and would recommend if you’re getting into your wine journey or if you even already have a great knowledge of wine.

A day out in the Barossa Valley - Charles was a wonderful host. Not only was this a wine tour it was a history and geography lesson as well! We went to a number of hand picked wineries where we sampled local Barossa wines. Lunch was served overlooking the Atze winery being entertained by Isabel & her husband.
If you are looking to go on a private tour of the Barossa valley I couldn’t recommend Charles more highly as an experienced and knowledgeable guide.

Great wine tour - Our winery tour with Charles was fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and engaging. Charles made the whole day smooth and enjoyable. The tastings were great and we have learnt so much about Barossa Valley. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastic host and wineries - Charles is a fantastic host (very knowledge, hospitable and funny) - the tour exceeded our expectations! We learned a lot and visiting some unique wineries that we could not have easily accessed on our own. Highly recommend booking a tour with Charles if you are in the area.

Excellent wine tour of the Barossa Valley - I booked and requested a pick up outside of Charles normal area, he was quick to offer solutions and for an small addition charge offered to pick up from our location.
From my first interaction Charles was professional and easy to interact with.
Charles shared excellent local area knowledge and stories which kept the day interesting and informative.
Charles selected some amazing wineries that we would have overlooked if planning our own day.
Each visit brought great historical information and we were lucky enough to meet a wine maker at one and spot others on site at another.
The choice for lunch was also fantastic with an excellent grazing board complimented with a lovely wine.
Charles provided a opportunity for a driving tour of the area which we thoroughly enjoyed, he also captured our day in photos that he shared.
If you are looking for a great day out in comfortable surroundings with a knowledgeable guide i highly recommended this tour.

Incredible experience - Charles was delightful. Prompt, accommodating, full of personality giving the perfect balance of history and entertaining stories delivered with humour. He is extremely knowledgeable with wines of the Barossa Valley and beyond. He personalised our experience every step of way and even became our photographer taking multiple photos to remember this amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Such a fun day with Charles - One of the best tours we've done. Charles was passionate and knowledgeable. Friendly and fun we had the best time and visited awesome wineries with some sightseeing as well. Great communication before and after. Do yourself a favour and book a day with Valley Wine Tours.

Local knowledge and great wine - Charles was a great host and full of great historical references and information to get an understanding of the past shaping the present. It was great to tap into his extensive knowledge on viticulture and how the industry operates in the barossa. Add in humour and some great wine it was a great day out.

Experiencing the Barossa in the Winter and all it offers us. - Charles was a great host driving my husband and I in bad weather to some of the smaller wineries. He was very informative about the Tunundra winery region. We probably would have enjoyed a more substantive lunch even though the one selected was enjoyable.
