Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Following a brief safari orientation in the morning, the journey will commence southwest towards Tarangire National Park. This park boasts a variety of landscapes, including grasslands, acacia woodlands, and forests. It is renowned for its large elephant herds and the congregation of animals at the river and swamps. Wildlife ranges from flocks of yellow-breasted lovebirds to kudus, buffaloes, giraffes, elands, and the unique-looking gerenuk. Predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas are present, while wild dogs are a rare sight. In the late afternoon, guests will arrive for dinner and an overnight stay at Jambo Lodge, Sunbright Tented Lodge, or Twiga Campsite.

Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the drive from Mto Wa Mbu to Serengeti will take approximately 6 hours, including all stops, as it passes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

There will be a brief stop at the gate and viewpoint to admire the stunning view of the crater.

Serengeti National Park spans 14,750 square kilometers (5,700 sq. mi) and is famous for the wildebeest and zebra migration, with over 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras forming a strategic partnership for survival. The focus will be on the Seronera area, the heart of the Serengeti. Arrival is expected in the late afternoon, followed by lunch and a game drive in Seronera until late evening, offering a chance to witness the sunset in the Serengeti while observing wildlife up close. Later, guests will head to Seronera Public Campsite (Nyani Campsite).

Seronera, Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, an early game drive will take place to observe numerous animals until the afternoon, when the group will return to the camp for lunch and packing. A game drive will be conducted while exiting the Serengeti, heading towards Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Following an early breakfast, the descent into the crater will begin at 6:15 am, with the aim of spotting the elusive black rhino. Rhinos are the most challenging to find in the picturesque crater, as most animals are easier to spot due to the crater’s floor. After lunch, a game drive will be conducted, followed by an ascent from the crater to prepare for the return trip to the hotel in Arusha or the airport (for those with a late flight).

For those without a late flight, transportation to the airport will be arranged for the following day(s).
