Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Begin your exciting journey to Tarangire National Park with a convenient pickup from your hotel at your chosen time (an early start is recommended for maximum game drive time). Tarangire boasts the world’s largest concentration of elephants and the highest number of breeding bird species, particularly during the dry season. Encounter a variety of wildlife including lions, cheetahs, leopards, kudu, oryx, and gerenuk, among others. In the afternoon, your guide will select an ideal spot for you to enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the wildlife. The Tarangire River, the park’s only permanent water source, attracts large herds of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, and the predators that hunt them. In the evening, proceed to Pamoja Olea Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lodge to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, set off towards the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Although the drive is lengthy, it offers breathtaking views. This experience is unforgettable, especially for first-time visitors. As you journey deeper into the Serengeti, you’ll understand why its name means “endless plains” in the local language. Covering 6,900 sq. miles (18,000 sq. km), the plains stretch to the horizon, challenging your sense of distance. Home to the Great Migration, the park hosts 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras, and various antelopes. It’s also a prime location for spotting Big Cats and large predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, with many famous wildlife scenes filmed here. After the game drive, return to Serengeti Safari Lodge.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park - An early start is recommended for a morning game drive when animals are most active, offering one of the most stunning sunrises you’ll ever see. After the game drive and tour, return to the camp/lodge for a delightful brunch before heading to Ngorongoro, the 8th wonder of the Natural World. The crater spans 102 sq. miles with 2,000 ft. high walls, resembling a Noah’s ark with nearly every species of East African wildlife. It’s one of the few places on the continent where you can see the black Rhino. The crater features a river, swamps, a soda lake with a high concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It’s also renowned for its elephants, the largest in the world with enormous tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. In the evening, drive to Ang’ata luxury tented lodge for an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Start the day early by descending into the crater floor for an extraordinary morning of wildlife viewing in one of the planet’s most breathtaking locations. After the game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch near the picturesque Hippo Lake. Following lunch, there will be time for a brief game drive before ascending the crater and exiting the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. After a full day of game driving, head back to Arusha.
