Tarangire National Park - The safari adventure kicks off today! After breakfast, the operator will pick up guests from their hotel for a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is renowned for its impressive elephant herds and the majestic Ancient Baobab trees, the largest on the continent. From the vehicle’s open roof, visitors can enjoy views of the seasonal swamps, savanna, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River, home to a diverse array of birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants. The picnic site offers a breathtaking view, where guests will have their picnic lunch before continuing with game viewing. The day concludes at Fig Tree Lodge, where guests can relax, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the journey to Serengeti begins. A long, bumpy road leads to a captivating 4-5 hour drive through the crater highlands towards the expansive Serengeti plains. A stop for a picnic lunch is planned before entering the park for an afternoon drive. After witnessing the sunset, the group will head to Seronera Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro
Serengeti National Park - An early start today, around 6 am, for a sunrise game drive to observe animals at their most active. Breakfast will be enjoyed at a picnic site in the bush, followed by more game viewing before returning to camp around noon for a hot lunch. After loading the vehicle, the group will depart for Ngorongoro, where dinner and an overnight stay at Simba Campsite await.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater - An early morning game drive is planned after breakfast. The descent into the crater reveals a habitat for nearly all species native to East Africa, including the black rhino. The crater boasts the highest concentration of wildlife on the planet, featuring a river, swamps, a soda lake that appears steamy from above and is filled with flamingos, a forest, and open plains. The resident bull elephants have notably large tusks, thanks to the mineral-rich volcanic soil and grasses. After a 5-hour game drive, the journey back to Arusha marks the end of the safari.
