Lake Manyara - Following breakfast, the tour sets off. The first stop is Arusha Town for any last-minute shopping before embarking on the safari. The journey then continues to Lake Manyara. Lake Manyara National Park is renowned for its stunning vistas and diverse habitats, including acacia woodlands, water forests, baobab-dotted cliffs, algae-streaked hot springs, swamps, and the lake itself. This diversity allows the small park to support a wide array of animal species and remarkable birdlife. Manyara boasts the world’s largest concentration of baboons, and its lions are famous for their tree-climbing abilities. Dinner and overnight stay at Eileen’s Tree Lodge.

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highland farms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands, the tour descends into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. The tour proceeds to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a crucial water source and attracts a wide variety of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at Domel Wilderness Tented.

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - An early morning game drive is followed by a departure to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A stopover at Olduvai Gorge is included, a site rich in history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that anthropologists Drs. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of ‘Nutcracker Man’ and ‘Handy Man’, both crucial links in the chain of human evolution. Late afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha – Airport

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a vast variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. The tour will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the crater’s main features. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are often seen here. Late afternoon transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight stay or airport drop-off.
