Beautiful - We had an excellent safari, we could see the serengeti (central and north) which allowed us to see the migration, the ngorongoro crater also is beautiful.
Many thanks to Jerome for organizing and accompanying during the months leading up to the safari, he was always available when I had questions.
Many thanks also to Stanley our driver, who taught us a lot about the savannah ecosystem and who made this experience enjoyable.
I recommend meruslopes for organizing your safari

We highly recommend! - We took a private 5-day tour with our guide, Samuel, and we really enjoyed it. Perfectly organized tour, with overnight stays in excellent facilities and great professionalism of our guide. Samuel was great at tracking animals on safari and was always kind and helpful without being too intrusive. He is a lovely person and a great driver! The packed lunch was great, varied and plentiful. It was prepared the same morning and served hot made not obvious by observing the scarce lunch served by other tour operators.

Amazing 6-Day Safari - We booked a 6 day private custom safari. We were picked up from the airport in Arusha by Fidelis, who told us some basic and important words in Swahili and general information about tribes in Tansania. After finishing all payments at the meru slopes office with Jerome they gave us a ride to our accommodation and managed for us to get some homemade food.
The next day Asantaeli, our guide, picked us up and we started the safari. The national parks we visited were: Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorogoro Crater. It was just amazing. We saw many animals and Asantaeli answered all our questions about them. We even saw a pack of hyenas hunting successfully. The lodges were all very comfortable and clean with very nice staff. The Hhando Lodges was serene. We will never forget the sunset at the Camp (Heritage Camp) within the Serengeti. The provided food was plenty and delicious.
The last day we spent with Jerome and Nickolson, who showed us the local food markets and shops in Arusha. We also went for a small hike up a hill and looked at the city.
This whole experience was perfect and we are very thankful.

The best safari agency in Tanzania, IF YOU ARE SPANISH, DO NOT HESITATE - If I came back to Tanzania, I'd choose Meru Slopes again. I have no doubt. Before choosing them, I did a super extended search with many agencies, both Spanish and Tanzanian. I read reviews, looked at forums, searched social media... I finally decided on them because the reviews were very good and the price was absolutely differentiating. Communication with the agency was always easy, fast and smooth. Jerome, has taken care of everything, sent us a budget that fit our wishes, you can put days, take days, move up in category down. They fix it right away and send you a budget again. In addition, they advise you on many aspects such as recommended tips, proper clothing, and make sure everything is prepared for your arrival. Payment is made by transfer via Revolut so it is easier impossible. Once on safari (10 days in total), we didn’t just see all the animals possible, but also those that I couldn’t even imagine. And much of the success of the safari is owed to the Jeep Driver and Guide. Both have made a perfect combination to put the car in the best place, tell miles where the animals are and advise you on the best options to make the safari a success. You just have to get carried away and trust them. Thanks especially to Lobulu, Dani, Fidelis, Oscar and Victor. All of them have been part of our journey in Tanzania. Lobulu, the Driver was key. It has taken us safely, which is something not to be overlooked. We've seen other jeeps from very very famous agencies doing barbarities on the savannah: Driving very fast, harassing animals, and being very violent in their driving. Instead, Lobulu, on the contrary, has been very clever because he knew where to put the car, he knew that if he gave space between the next jeep, the animals that are sometimes cornered would seek our space to cross the road, that allows us to see the animals better than anyone. I knew that if the animals moved, it was better to move the car to a road to see them better. Not only has he been sharp driving, he has done it safely. Every bump, it passed with total smoothness, that has made our safari have no mishap. We have seen other broken cars, with wheels, radiators or brake discs fuming just because the driver has driven so rough. That is also part of the safari, to do it safely. The jeep is equipped with water, refrigerator, beer... comforts that exceed many European standards. Our Guide Dani saw animals with his eyes miles away. Where I looked, I knew there was an animal. Sometimes I would stop the car and make Lobulu go in reverse, many meters, because I had seen a turtle. Their ability to find animals has been the key. We've seen the big 5, and hundreds more animals. The accommodations that have chosen us also unbeatable, but you can always adapt them to the budget. Sometimes it can be scary to communicate with a company that is outside Spain, but in the end you realize that Spanish companies end up subcontracting to local agencies, because they are the ones who really know how to do it. That makes the price of a safari in Spain multiple x3. I assure you.
With Jerome, we have been able to talk very easily, if you do not have a command of English, use translator because they will do their best to get in touch with you. The best thing about hiring a Tanzanian agency is that the money stays in the country and does not go to a foreign investor, providing its citizens with more opportunities to live and maintain wealth. They have accompanied us, guided us and taken us to the heart of Africa, we have seen the migration of thousands of animals and that is a resource that I will maintain all my life. I want to thank the entire team of Meru Slopes, Asante Sana! With all my heart.

Best Honeymoon Possible - Wow. What a trip!!! My wife and I came to do a private safari in Tanzania for our Honey Moon and cannot recommend Meru Slopes and specifically our guide/driver Salehe enough!
We went to Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, and the Ngorongoro crater.
Meru slopes took care of everything from food to lodging to the actual safari drives and tour. We stayed at luxury camps or “glamping” spots along the way. Very comfortable accommodations (hot food, hot showers, clean sheets etc), but we were learning so much and having so much fun with Salehe we spent very little time at the camps (more park time woo!). The car also has a cooler and charging ports so it’s your little home away from home while you’re enjoying all the wildlife.
We saw everything we wanted to see and then some! (Wildebeest, water buffalo, antelope, lions, hippos, leopards, elephants, rhinos, etc. you name it we saw it!). We even saw the most amazing great migration river crossing!
Salehe was incredibly nice and helpful. If we had any random question about the animals, the parks, or Tanzanian culture he knew the answer and enlightened us. He also somehow always found the best spots for us to view and take pictures of the animals. It was like he had a sixth sense! By the end of it my wife and I felt like we were friends.
Such a great experience we will be coming back and using Meru Slopes again and specifically request Salahe. If he’s booked no sweat it’s a great company so I’m sure all their guides are as professional and knowledgeable as him.
Hakuna Matata!

Life Changing Safari Adventure - We had an amazing experience. It started when booking the trip. Kelvin was so responsive and helpful. We were traveling with our 83 year old mother and needed special attention for her. I had regular communication with Kelvin 6 months prior to the trip and everything was planned perfectly. We visited Tangere National Park, East, Central and North Serengeti, the NgoroNgoro Crater and Lake Manyara. Our driver, Jacob, was the best. He was so accommodating for our mom. The whole trip was well coordinated. Lodges and meals were amazing. We had a special private sundown in the Serengeti. Had great pictures with a leopard during sunset. The sunrise at the Serena Lodge overlooking the NgoroNgoro Crater was amazing. Every lodge was ready for us when we arrived. The service was personal and amazing. They sang to our mom. The tented camps in the Serengeti provided a thrill being in the middle of the migration. We could see Wildebeest, giraffe, elephants, baboon, zebra, and stork from our tent. We could also hear lion and hyena at night. Lion paw prints were on the ground next to our tent as well. It was a thrilling experience. Jacob found lion prides, leopard and cheetah for us to see. We had an amazing elephant encounter in the Tangere National Park. We were surrounded by a huge herd. So close we could see their eye lashes. Heart and Soul Lodge, Serena lodge and Acacia Lodge were all amazing and provided a different experience. If you are planning a trip Kelvin will set you up and I would only do the trip with Jacob as our guide. Our mom was in tears when we had to part with Jacob. He treated her like his own mother and made sure every lodge was ready to take care of her. Meru Slopes and the team there are the best. Highly recommend if your planning a safari.

Best Safari - What a perfect trip! ! My wife and I booked a 5-day private safari tour with Meru Slopes and it was truly an unforgettable experience. We really appreciate our guide Patrick, he is a professional and enthusiastic guy and we enjoyed every day with him. The travel agency's service is also very timely and thoughtful. Choosing them among many travel agencies and itineraries was the most correct decision for us.

Once in a lifetime - This was an incredible experience, a big thank you to our guide, Salhe! We had such a great time. Salhe made sure that we were comfortable during our rides, and was really great at finding all the animals we were there to see - we saw the big 5, and almost every other animal one could hope to find, far beyond our expectations. Most importantly, he was really respectful of the animals, and as travelers who try to be conscious of nature we found that to be really important. He was really knowledgeable as well, and answered so many of our questions about the animals and Tanzania and its landscapes. The tour itself was really amazing as well - the accommodations were fantastic. Staying in the middle of the Serengeti for 2 nights was an experience we won't forget, but be aware that you might hear animals roaming freely at night :) The Rhino lodge was really unique as well, with zebras and waterbuck roaming in our back yard. The food was great everywhere we stopped and plentiful during lunch so you won't go hungry or thirsty either. All in all, we'd highly recommend this package (any fewer days would have been too few) and Salhe himself as your guide!
