Tarangire National Park - Following breakfast, the tour sets off between 08:30 - 09:00. A private guide will collect the guests, and the exclusive safari begins with a private 4x4 vehicle. The first destination is Tarangire, where guests will arrive at the lodge for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive. This park is renowned for its large population of elephants and baobab trees. During the dry season from June to November, visitors can witness vast herds of zebras, wildebeests, and cape buffalo. Other frequently seen animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, Grant’s gazelle, vervet monkey, banded mongoose, and olive baboon. Predators in Tarangire include African lions, leopards, cheetahs, caracals, honey badgers, and African wild dogs.
Lake Manyara National Park/ Game Drive
Lake Manyara National Park - After a delightful breakfast at the lodge, drivers will pick up guests at 8:30 - 9:00 am with a picnic lunch, heading directly to Manyara National Park for an extended game drive.
Lake Manyara National Park is famous for the flamingos that gather at the lake. During the wet season, they flock in thousands along the lake’s edges, though they are less present in the dry season. Leopards, East African lions, cheetahs, elephants, blue monkeys, dik-dik, gazelles, hippopotamuses, Masai giraffes, impalas, zebras, and many other wild animals inhabit this park and can be seen throughout the year. There is a hippo pond at one end of the park where visitors can safely exit their vehicles to observe.
Leopards and lions are known to rest in the trees when not hunting.
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, guests depart for Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands, the journey descends into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. The tour proceeds to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a vital water source and attracts a wide variety of wildlife. Guests arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.
Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Area for BIG FIVE
Serengeti National Park - An early morning refreshment of coffee, tea, and biscuits is followed by a morning game drive from 08:00 - 14:30 hours. Afterwards, the tour departs to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a game drive en route, with wildlife viewing along the way, leading to the evening’s dinner and overnight stay.
Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, guests descend over 600 meters into the crater to observe wildlife. Supported by a year-round water supply and grazing, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area hosts a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants.
A major attraction of this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. The tour will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the crater’s main features. A large number of flamingos, hippos, and other water birds are typically seen here.
Later, the tour will transfer back to Arusha city for a hotel drop-off.
