Tarangire National Park - Begin the day with breakfast before departing from the hotel to start the safari journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. This park is renowned for its abundant wildlife, especially between June and September, the dry season. During this period, thousands of animals such as wildebeest, buffalo, and oryx migrate from the arid Maasai steppes to the Tarangire River in search of water. Predators like lions and leopards follow these herds. Tarangire is also home to over 500 bird species. Enjoy lunch and a late afternoon game drive before heading to Octagon Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Octagon to Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast in Manyara, travel to the magnificent Serengeti National Park, with lunch and game drives along the way. During the afternoon game drive, you may encounter lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. Numerous bird species, including migrants, can also be seen. Continue game viewing around Seronera or head eastward, with dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage Camp.
Full Day Game Drive
Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, embark on morning game drives in Serengeti National Park, taking in the breathtaking scenery, dynamic lighting, and captivating wildlife, all expertly explained by your guide.
Choose between a picnic or hot lunch at 12:30 PM. After lunch, continue with afternoon game drives until sunset at 6:30 PM, then return to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Tented Lodge.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, depart from Serengeti to the Ngorongoro Crater Rim. Begin with early morning game drives in Serengeti, then return to the campsite for breakfast. Check out and travel with lunch and game viewing en route to the Ngorongoro Crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Crater back to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - Start the day early with breakfast before descending into the crater floor for game drives. The Big Five (rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant) inhabit this remarkable caldera. Other wildlife includes zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena, and more. Birdlife features flamingos on the Soda Lake, geese, storks, vultures, and others. Lunch will be served at the picnic site in the Crater at Ngoitoktok Swamp, a hippo pool. After lunch, return to Arusha and be dropped off at the airport or hotel.
