Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the park before heading to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115 km from Arusha and spans an area of 2,800 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which attracts a variety of wildlife. Major attractions include large elephant populations, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. Visitors can also spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife.
Tarangire to Serengeti
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti National Park, known for its vast plains. The destination is the Seronera area, a rich wildlife habitat featuring the Seronera River, which attracts a diverse range of species. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park until sunset.
Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Full Day Tour
Serengeti National Park - Start the day early with a full breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The driver will guide visitors to key areas to witness the wildebeest migration. The Great Migration varies annually, with the best viewing opportunities from June to September. From July to September, the driver will take guests to northern Serengeti to see the migration crossing the Mara River. Over a million wildebeest travel in search of fresh grazing and water. After a full day of exploration, return to the accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Rise at 5:45 AM for an early breakfast and sunrise viewing in the Serengeti. After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive until 11:30 AM, then return to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack belongings into the jeep. Continue the game drive while heading to Ngorongoro Crater, staying overnight at Simba Campsite.
Ngorongoro to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - Early risers will be treated to stunning views of the sunrise over the crater’s edge. After a hearty breakfast, descend the adventurous track into the crater. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Africa’s seven wonders, is a remarkable ecosystem formed millions of years ago by a volcanic explosion. The crater is 610 meters deep and covers approximately 260 square kilometers. With a dense animal population of around 25,000, it offers exceptional game viewing opportunities. Spot wildebeest, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species. With luck, catch a glimpse of the endangered black rhino. After lunch, ascend the crater walls and head to Mto wa Mbu for a short tour.
Mto wa Mbu - In Mto wa Mbu village, a local guide will welcome visitors. These knowledgeable guides provide insights into the community’s social and economic aspects. There are many activities to choose from, so be ready with a camera to capture memorable moments. Feel free to ask questions, as the guide will be happy to answer them. The visit often begins in the village’s banana plantations, where over 30 banana species are cultivated. Later, drive to Arusha for an overnight stay.
