Totally recommend! - Great experience! The variety of landscapes and animals to see in 5 days is unbelievable. Our guide Lobulu was super nice and funny, and had a lot of interesting information about each animal.
Chef Bonge delivered delicious meals everyday.
Can definitely recommend!

Wonderful nature, a great guide and good food - We had an amazing time on our safari which Jerome organized for us. Our tour guide Labulu was very competent and has a lot of knowledge about the nature, which he shared with us. Also the food by Bonge was delicious. Besides the safari tour the accommodation in the Arusha Tourist Inn was also included in the price as well as the transfers from and to the airport. I would totally recommend Meru Slopes for doing a safari.

Great Safari - everything perfect - The safari was perfectly planned from the airport pickup to the end. Already in advance the communication with Kelvin was great and he has responded to all wishes. The safari itself was an amazing experience! We've seen sooo many animals! Our guide Hilary responded to all wishes and was very cool. The car was cleaned every evening, we went to the workshop immediately on an evening when something was wrong with the car and also otherwise you felt in good hands! All in all just great and worth every penny:)

An Amazing Safari With Abraham and Rashid From Meru Slopes - Just finished our 5-day safari with Meru Slopes and we had an amazing time. Abraham, our guide, and Rashid, our chef, created an amazing experience for us. Abraham was knowledgeable about the plants and animals (even more obscure ones) and always treated them with great respect. Both at camp and during game drives, he treated everyone in our group with professionalism and kindness, and we felt well taken care of. On top of that, he was an extremely skilled and safe driver on the very challenging roads in the area. Rashid prepared delicious food for every meal — both local and foreign cuisines — and always brought with him infectious positive energy. When he wasn’t cooking, Rashid was always game to help us pick up Swahili words that would be helpful during our travels.
With Abraham’s guidance we were able to see all of the “big five” (and many many more)! Abraham was honest and never over-promised, yet always knew where to look. In Serengeti, we saw several prides of feasting lions, countless herds of elephants, and a pair of leopards. In Ngorongoro, we saw a massive group of water buffalo and spotted the elusive black rhino from a distance. To top off our trip, in Tarangire, Abraham found us a pair of cheetahs sleeping under a tree.
P.S. We are writing this because Abraham and Rashid were superb — we’ve had other tour operators forcefully insist we write a positive review, and Abraham and Rashid did not do this :)

Unforgettable 5 day Safari - We were a group of five on a five-day tour with three nights of camping, and the trip exceeded our expectations at every step. We were incredibly well looked after by our guide, Rashid, and our chef, Salim, who attentively catered to all of our group’s needs. The equipment provided was excellent, and the truck even came with a fridge and Wi-Fi! We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a safari that truly offers great value for money and creates unforgettable memories.

Great Safari with Meru Slopes🦁 - Everything worked very well from the beginning. Communication with Jerome was very good and we were picked up on time at the airport and in the end also driven back to the airport.
The safari itself was great. The trip was well organized and planned and there were many game drives. We saw the Big 5 and significantly more animals than we could have imagined.
Lobulu was a very good guide with a lot of knowledge about all the animals.
We felt safe at all times. We really liked the private tour. The camping itself was also good. The camp in the Serengeti was a bit worn, especially the washrooms, but fine. The camp at Ngorongoro Crater was very nice. We saw a lot of animals running around and around the campsite in the camps alone, that was a dream. (Giraffes, elephants, hippos, zebras...)
The food was really good and there were 2 very delicious hot meals every day. We didn't expect such good food.
Only the breakfast could have been a little better.
We can only recommend Meru slopes and had a great time!

Absolutely recommended! - After a long search we chose Meru Slopes thanks to the excellent reviews and the availability and kindness of the contact person, Shadrack.
Back from our safari we can say: we couldn't have made a better choice!
We chose a 5 days / 4 nights basic and shared safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro.
The first night, after Tarangire NP, is at Fanaka Lodge: there are bungalows with private bathroom, a swimming pool and a beautiful garden.
The public camping in Serengeti is very very basic... but we loved it! It is the true essence of safari! You can have visits from all kinds of animals in the middle of the tents and during the night you can hear the sounds of the animals and the noises of the savannah.
The last camping, Simba Public Campsite in Ngorongoro, is better organized than the Serengeti one but more crowded and during the night is quite cold: we suggest to bring warm and heavy clothing, for example a thermal sweatshirt and a light windbreaker or down jacket.
The jeep was in excellent condition and was cleaned every day by our guide.
Luckily we also had a great time with our travel companions.
As for the price, we can say that it is really fair, considering the high entrance fees to national parks.
Let's talk about the staff.
Shadrack, from the very first moment, was available to respond very quickly to all our requests via email and to change the program according to our needs. He patiently and kindly answered all our questions, even the "strangest" ones.
Paul, our guide and driver, is simply the best guide we could have come across, always smiling, kind and friendly. He speaks excellent English and bring good humor into the jeep during long days and transfers from one park to another. Thanks to him we were able to see most of the animals up close: the mother cheetah with 4 cubs, the lionesses with 8 lion cubs, the leopard resting on the branch of a tree after having devoured the prey on the branch below, and all other kinds of animals. We also managed to see the Great Wildebeest Migration crossing the Mara River
Rachid, our chef, was always smiling and ready to make jokes. He prepared excellent meals, from breakfast to dinner, always different from one day to the next.
We really enjoyed the safari, above all the Serengeti NP.
It's definitely one of the most beautiful trips we've ever done.
We will definitely recommend Meru Slopes to anyone who asks us for advice on a safari in Tanzania!

Safari magic - Our safari was truly an unforgettable adventure. From the very beginning everything felt well organized, and we could just relax and enjoy every moment.
Our guide Samuel was absolutely amazin. He was not only knowledgeable about the animals and nature, but also really fun to be around. Thanks to him we got to see the big five and so many other animals up close. He always made sure we had the best views and experiences.
We were also so lucky to have chef Buga with us, who took care of all the meals during the trip. He managed to prepare tasty, fresh dishes and every meal felt like a small celebration after a day full of adventures. His cooking brought everyone together and gave the safari a very homely and warm feeling.
Together, Samuel and Buga created a welcoming atmosphere that made the whole trip truly special. We couldn’t have asked for a better team 🐘🦁✨
