Great trip!🦁 - Hello, we were very satisfied with our meru slopes 5-day safari trip. Our guide Paul was very nice and experienced, always answered all our questions and did his best to provide the trip of our life. His driving skills were excellent.
The chef Gadi was also very nice and helpful and all his meals were delicious.
They both took good care of us.
The company Meru slopes helped us also to get SIM CARDS, which really helped us for the navigation around Tanzania. They also came to grab us at the airport at 4 am, which we really appreciate. The accommodation was provided in the hotel, meals included. 😊 They all were very nice and willing to help.
In the future we will go with the same company again!

Best Safari with Meru Slopes! - We relied on Meru Slopes for our safari in early July 2025. I contacted Jerome, who was always very kind and helpful in organizing our personalized tour. During the preparations, one lodge was changed, and he promptly notified me and offered me an alternative. They arranged transportation from the airport to the first hotel and also to the airport the last day, all included in the initial quote, which I found to be the most convenient for the same type of safari and accommodations. Our guide, Kunda, was fantastic: he explained so many interesting facts about the animals, he made sure we saw all the ones he could and that interested us most, even through radio communication with the other guides. He drove on really rough roads without any problems and in complete safety. He entertained us with stories of his experiences and even entertained us with special songs. He is a truly nice person with whom you build a good relationship, and who speaks excellent English. We had a problem with a brake, and he also proved to be a mechanic because he fixed it himself before entering the park. The jeep was equipped with every comfort: Wi-Fi, cold drinks, water, chargers, radio. The accommodations all met, if not exceeded, expectations. We especially wanted to stay in equipped camps, and the experience is truly worth it. Central Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro are the two parks that, in my opinion, are most worthy, two magical places where you can spend unforgettable moments. In short, 10/10 for Meru slopes, Kunda, Jerome, and everything else Tanzania has to offer!

Absolute recommendation! - We have been as a family with two children (10 and 7) and the grandmother on a 5-day safari adventure through Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti and Ngorogo Craters. We spent two nights of it in the tent, which we can highly recommend. We will never forget the experience of staying in the tent in the middle of the Serengeti at night. Our guide and cook were great, friendly and fulfilled every wish. The food was extraordinarily delicious. For the children, fries were conjured up out of nowhere on request. I also find it worth mentioning that unlike some other safari companies we have seen, they have been very respectful of the animals and the environment. There was no "rushing" in the vehicle, but respectful distance so as not to bother the animals. It was a great experience that we will never forget and gladly recommend.

Well organised 5 day safari - Excellent safari trip, we saw close up lions cheetahs elephants zebras monkeys giraffes many beautiful birds and more. Rashid, our guide, went out of his way to show us all tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro has to offer. The food was yummy, the chef even baked fresh bread. Wine included! It was pretty chilly at night so warm clothes are a must.
It was the best choice to book with Meru slopes , highly recommended 10 out of 10!

Incredible safari trip! - From initial quote to our end of trip transfer, Meru Slopes were friendly, responsive and went above and beyond for our 6 day safari! Shadrack created the perfect itinerary, kept us updated and even organised to have our lost luggage flown into the Serengeti to meet us on safari! Our guide, Paul asked which animals we were most interested in seeing and took the time to seek them out for us and answered every question we had!
Our chef, Booga always had delicious meals ready for us and we never went hungry.
We added on an additional day in Arusha to go canoeing in the National Park. Our driver, Allan was great and our canoe guides, Goodwin & Bruno were amazing! Not only showing us giraffes, flamingos and other birds from the lake, but chatting to us about the local area and culture in Tanzania.
Highly recommend Meru Slopes for safari!

Unforgettable Safari – Highly Recommended! - We had a really good experience with this Meru Slopes. Everything was well organized, and the trip overall met – and in some ways exceeded – our expectations.
Our guide, Andrew, was funny, professional, and clearly very experienced. Having worked in the business for many years, he knew exactly where to go to spot the animals, and made sure we didn’t miss a thing!
Gift, who we communicated with before and after the trip, was helpful, responsive, and made planning easy. The food, prepared by Godfrey, was really good – fresh, tasty, and well prepared.
All in all, this was a memorable and well-run safari that we’re happy to recommend to others looking for a reliable and enjoyable experience – at a good price!

We recommend this experience 100%. - It has been a spectacular experience from start to finish. We want to highlight especially the help of Jérome, who from the first contact guided us with a lot of patience and professionalism to choose the tour that best suited what we were looking for. Thanks to him, everything went round.
The food was a pleasant surprise: Bubba, the chef, is a real crack. Everything was delicious, and the best thing is that if you have any food intolerance, they have everything under control. In our group there were people with gluten and lactose intolerance, and they prepared adapted menus without any problems and with great attention to detail.
And Samuel, our guide and driver, was just amazing. Always with a smile, super professional, made us feel safe, well cared for and taught us a lot during the tour.
We recommend this experience 100%. We would come back without hesitation!

Amazing experience! 5 stars without hesitation - We have been delighted with our safari, it definitely deserves the top score! From the beginning, Jérome helped us organize everything and guided us to find the tour that best suited what we were looking for. Your attention and advice were key to making everything go perfectly.
Food was another strength: Bubba, the cook, a 10! Everything was delicious, and they were also super careful about intolerances. In our case, we needed gluten-free and lactose-free options, and just by communicating in advance, they had everything prepared and were very attentive throughout the trip.
And of course, we cannot fail to mention Samuel, our guide and driver, who was exceptional. Professional, friendly, always willing to help and share his knowledge, made the safari an even more special experience.

Great experience - The value for money is really there. They kept an active communication. Rashid was an awesome guide, got the best spots every time we saw an animal and spotted animals from everywhere. we got to see all the animals. They don’t mind to get a little of schedule if you ask them to. Food was also great, Bonge cooked the best plates and always gave us what we wanted.
