Wonderful experience - Wonderful experience! We had a great 6 days safari with Serengeti African Tours. We booked it through email and WhatsApp with Antonia. She is a nice person and the response was quick and informative. Our guide Peter is the most knowledgeable, humorous and caring person we have ever met in Tanzania. He would fix every problem during the trip and really did his best to find the animals for us. Although we didn't see all Big Five in our trip, it was a delightful journey staying with Peter. One thing to add, he takes amazing photos like a professional. Don't hesitate to ask for his help if you are lucky enough to be with this guide.

A very nice experience - We booked our safari with Kilipath Safari . We were traveling with our 2 teenagers and we joined 3 other people to complete the car. The whole was a great success. They adapted to our desires (we did not all sleep in the same place) and Matteo, the cook (who followed us the 6 days) knew how to offer dishes that my daughter my daughter, vegetarian. could eat. The highlight was our driver Rasheed. His very flexible driving on bumpy roads, his ability to be at the right time in the right place to see the animals while remaining respectful of the environment, his kindness and his marks of attention for each of us but especially his encyclopedic knowledge of fauna and flora. Fantastic safari experience - Fantastic experience: well organised, good accomodation, good food, incredible close views of wildlife, and the best guide that I have had for any trip in my 30 years of travelling the world. Rachid had an encyclopedic knowledge of the animals, down to the smallest birds, and could explain their breeding & social habits along with lots of other details. He had the knack of stopping the 4x4 in the right place at the right time for great views, and is also a really nice guy with lots of stories to tell.

Memorable experience - An unforgettable experience with the best guide! Godfrey made our safari truly special. He knows the parks inside out and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time to spot animals. It was impressive how much he knew, and how passionate he is about what he does. What stood out the most was his energy and kindness. He was always checking in on us, answering all our curious questions, and making us laugh with fun facts and jokes. You could tell he genuinely cares about making the experience amazing for everyone. We did the hot air balloon experience that is really incredible. We highly recommend. The tour itself was incredible, and the organization with Serengeti African Tours was seamless. I absolutely recommend going with Godfrey and this company. You’ll leave with unforgettable memories and a big smile on your face.

Very good experience but very busy and road chaotic - We had a wonderful 6-day trip with Serengeti Africa Tours. [ ✅ ] Positive Linah, the contact person, was extremely available and answered our hundreds of questions on WhatsApp quickly and efficiently. Our driver Matchete was exceptional. Very skilled, very passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about the animals. He was always smiling and pleasant. Visiting different parks was an outstanding experience. [ ❌ ] Negative The food was good but a bit repetitive. The preparation of the packed lunches in the morning was always delayed by 30 minutes to 1 hour, which made us feel like we were leaving for safari later than others. In August, there are huge crowds. You are never alone—always dozens of jeeps around. At lunchtime, you have to “fight” with other agencies to get a table or chair in the picnic areas. Nyani Public Campsite in the Serengeti was the worst campsite we’ve stayed at in 4 months of traveling through Africa: dirty toilets and showers, too much loud music and partying (those people shouldn’t be there), overcrowded, and in the evening you have to queue to use the toilets or showers. The road to the Serengeti is chaotic, with 3 hours of rough driving each way. Because of that we found many car stop for technicien issue and us lost 3h in our trip over all. [ 🌍 ] Ecological concerns Too many plastic bottles. Almost all tourists carry reusable bottles, so agencies should find a better solution. Lots of litter around the parking and cooking areas in the campsites. Eating with real plates, cutlery, and glasses instead of plastic is a very good practice.

Amazing time with Serengeti African Tours! - We had so much fun during the safari and we learned a lot about the animals through our guides, Peter and William. They knew all the places where we could see the animals and made it possible to see the big 5! During the safari we stayed at lovely places and everyhting was very well organised.

Unsafe and unreliable - I booked a safari with this company for $1,800 and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The service provided fell far below what was promised and expected. There were significant delays, poor organization, and overall mismanagement that wasted both time and money. The guide and the company lied to us about how much experience the guide had and then tried to back pedal on their lie so they would not get caught. When I raised my concerns and requested fair compensation, the company was dismissive and unprofessional. Despite acknowledging issues, they refused to offer a reasonable refund and instead tried to minimize my experience. They then started to blame me and actually lashed out at me while I tried to stay professional the whole time. Safaris are meant to be memorable for the right reasons, but in this case, the experience was stressful, poorly run, unsafe, and not worth the cost. I would stronly recommend a more reliable and customer focused operator to avoid the same disappointment.
