Lake Manyara - Continue to Lake Manyara National Park. Despite its small size, this park is one of the most varied reserves in the country. Lake Manyara occupies two-thirds of the park. The backdrop is the Great Rift Valley wall, with a groundwater forest, open grasslands near the lake, and the Soda Lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, featuring open grassy spaces, hot springs, dense woodlands, and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park is a birdwatcher’s paradise with over 450 bird species. The park is also renowned for its unique tree-climbing lions.

MANYARA – SERENGETI

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, travel to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. Visit the world-renowned wildlife sanctuary – Serengeti National Park. The term ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, aptly describing the park’s 5,600 square mile expanse. Despite its vastness, the Serengeti offers exceptional game-viewing. From May to December, millions of animals migrate from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Maasai Mara and back, creating a spectacular sight. Even during quieter times, large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam, alongside elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. As lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals hunt, enjoy a picnic lunch in this open arena.

Serengeti National Park - Spend a full day on a game drive in Serengeti National Park with a packed lunch until late evening. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay. Arusha Chini - After an early breakfast around 5:50 am, descend into the crater at 6 am for a 6-7 hour game drive, with a picnic lunch. Explore the crater floor for an up-close view of the residents of this World Heritage Site, and enjoy a picnic lunch here. The Ngorongoro Crater offers excellent game-viewing year-round. The wildlife here forms a permanent population due to abundant grazing and water supplies throughout the seasons. In the afternoon, drive back to town.
