Arrival in Arusha

Arusha Region - Upon your arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed and transferred to Karibu Heritage House. The first day includes an engaging sightseeing tour of local markets and the Arusha Museum, offering valuable insights.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - At 7:30 am, you will be greeted at your hotel and introduced to your guide and chef for the tour. You’ll also have the opportunity to meet fellow travelers. We will then embark on a 2-hour journey to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its varied landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and numerous elephants. You’ll witness the fascinating interactions within elephant families. A game drive will take us to areas within the park where lions, cheetahs, and leopards have been spotted. The park is also home to many herbivores, including giraffes, wildebeest, and zebras. Later, we’ll enjoy lunch at a picnic site by the Tarangire River, with stunning views and wildlife nearby. Keep an eye out for playful monkeys and baboons, who may attempt to snatch your lunch, but rest assured, they are harmless.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, we will set off for a 6-hour drive to the Serengeti, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A brief stop at the gate allows for a 20-minute view of the magnificent crater. An optional visit to a Masai Village is available to learn about their culture (additional cost of US$10 to US$20).

Upon arrival in the late afternoon, a game drive in Seronera, the heart of the Serengeti, awaits. As the day progresses, enjoy a game drive into the evening, experiencing the Serengeti sunset and observing wildlife up close. With luck, you might witness a predator in action! We will then proceed to our camp.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following an early breakfast, a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park is planned until lunchtime. Lunch will be served at the campsite. Afterward, we will pack up and depart the Serengeti, embarking on a 2-hour game drive to Simba Campsite. The camp’s location near the Ngorongoro Crater rim offers the chance to see various animals from the campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - An early breakfast precedes our descent into the crater at 6:15 am. The day’s game drive focuses on spotting black rhinos, which are more elusive than other crater inhabitants.

After lunch, we will ascend the crater, returning to camp to prepare for our journey to Mto wa Mbu, arriving at our destination in the evening.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara - After breakfast, continue with early morning game drives in Lake Manyara, enjoying the diverse scenery and forest landscapes. Explore various safari options, including guided walks and canoeing safaris. The afternoon will be filled with more game drives and activities before returning to Arusha.

Departure

Arusha - On your final day, after an unforgettable safari experience, you will be transferred to the airport at your preferred time. If your departure is later in the evening, you can enjoy additional activities such as visiting waterfalls and hot springs or make use of the hotel amenities before your airport transfer.
