The route offers views of lively Masai villages and expansive, open plains that are iconic of Africa. In Tarangire National Park, there is an opportunity to witness herds of elephants.

Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

Tarangire National Park - Following breakfast, the journey continues towards the lush highlands where the Iraqw people cultivate wheat, coffee, and corn. Traveling through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the stunning Ngorongoro Crater comes into view.

Serengeti National Park, the largest in Tanzania, boasts a variety of landscapes and habitats, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains.

The Serengeti is teeming with wildlife such as impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, and is renowned for its massive migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. Alongside these migrations, there is a chance to spot predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions, always nearby.

After an afternoon game drive, guests will arrive at their accommodation to enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Serengeti National Park - Post-breakfast, the day begins with an en route game drive through the Serengeti. There is a possibility of encountering the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard – before proceeding to Ngorongoro Crater. The animals roam freely in the unfenced reserves, providing an uninterrupted wildlife viewing experience. Upon reaching the crater’s edge, the first glimpse of the next day’s adventure awaits – sparkling streams, open grasslands, and countless animals. The night will be spent at a nearby lodge, with the warm glow of sunset as a backdrop.

Ngorongoro to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Rise early for a descent down a steep track into the 600-meter-deep caldera to witness a stunning array of animals and birds. The caldera, a collapsed volcano, is home to over 25,000 mammals, including the “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard) and more than 500 bird species.

A picnic lunch in the park is part of the experience.

Following another afternoon game drive, the journey concludes with a return to Arusha, marking the end of the safari.
