KILIMANJARO – Londrossi Gate 2200m

Mount Kilimanjaro - The journey begins with a drive from a hotel in Arusha or Moshi to Londrossi Gate at 2200m a.s.l. (7330ft) for registration. Afterward, return to the starting point, passing through Fill’s farm, which features a variety of planted trees. Beneath these trees, farmers cultivate various vegetables such as carrots and round potatoes. Disembark at the rainforest and commence a 5km/4-hour walk. This area is home to large animals like elephants, buffaloes, and elands, as well as birds and small, beautiful flowers. Arrive at Forest Camp, 2830m/9430ft, for an overnight stay.

KILIMANJARO – Climbing from Big Tree to Shira

Kilimanjaro National Park - The climb from Big Tree to Shira 1 takes 4-6 hours over 7km, reaching an elevation of 3509m/11690ft. The path is narrow, leading to Heather moorland and ascending the Shira Plateau ridge. The landscape is adorned with Erica family tree species and savanna grassland. Arrive at Shira 1 camp for dinner and an overnight stay. If the sky is clear, Kibo can be seen.

KILIMANJARO – Upper Route to Shira Cathedral 3920m/13060ft

Kilimanjaro National Park - There are two options after a hearty breakfast: a 4-5 hour, 6km upper route to Shira Cathedral at 3920m/13060ft for acclimatization, followed by a climb to Shira 2 camp at 3840m/12800ft for an overnight stay. Alternatively, take the lower route across the rescue road directly to Moe Hut campus at 4200m/14000ft for an overnight stay and dinner.

KILIMANJARO – Great Barranco Camp

Kilimanjaro National Park - After breakfast, embark on a 5-6 hour, 9.5km climb through the rock desert zone via Lava Tower for further acclimatization at 4605m/15350ft. Enjoy lunch here, then descend to Great Barranco Camp at 3940m/13130ft. The landscape offers stunning and breathtaking views. Dinner and overnight stay.

KILIMANJARO – Rock Climbing, Barranco Wall Elevation 4200m/14000ft

Kilimanjaro National Park - After breakfast, engage in a 3-4 hour, 5.5km rock climb up Barranco Wall at 4200m/14000ft, continuing to Karanga Camp at 4000m/13330ft. Enjoy a hot lunch, then rest at Karanga Camp for the night.

Kilimanjaro - Karanga Camp to Barafu Hut

Kilimanjaro National Park - In the morning, ascend from Karanga Camp for 3-4 hours over 5km to Barafu Hut at 4620m/15400ft. The walk is gradual through the alpine desert. This challenging day involves a 6-hour, 5.5km climb to the top of Kilimanjaro, reaching Stella Point at 5756m/19180ft and Uhuru Peak (Freedom Peak) at 5896m/19650ft. Spend a few minutes taking photos, then descend for 3 hours to Barafu Hut.

Kilimanjaro - Down to Mweka Hut 3100m/10330ft

Mount Kilimanjaro - Take a 1-hour rest for food, then continue descending to Mweka Hut at 3100m/10330ft for the last night and dinner.

Arusha / Moshi

Mount Kilimanjaro - After an early morning breakfast, descend for 4 hours over 8km through the rainforest to Mweka Gate at 1760m/5860ft. Sign out and receive a certificate for the hard work accomplished. Drive back to the hotel to follow the next schedule.
