From there, a four-hour hike leads to the Mandara Huts, offering opportunities for birdwatching and appreciating the enchanting forest of Kilimanjaro. Along the trail, hikers will encounter several streams and small waterfalls. Upon arrival at the Mandara Huts, a lunch will be served, with vegetarian options available. Afterward, the descent to the mountain’s base will commence, taking approximately three hours, as descending is significantly easier than the ascent.
