Starting at the Marangu Gate, and guided by a professional mountain guide, participants will hike to the Mandara Huts, situated at an altitude of 2700 meters. Here, they will pause for lunch before taking a brief walk to the Maundi Crater, offering views of both Mawenzi Peak and Kibo Peak (the summit).

Climbing KILIMANJARO doesn’t necessitate any special skills, but rather, it involves a good deal of walking - approximately 40 miles and a climb of around 13000 feet, typically spread over 6 days on the way up and 2 days on the way down. Don’t get discouraged thinking you’re too out of shape, too old, too young, or too anything. Above all, undertaking KILIMANJARO requires tenacity and resolve.
