locals, guides, or fellow travelers& hiked,"danced, explored, cool air, shimmering water,(freshly cooked food) - We embarked on a long-awaited family road trip to the coast, and it was pure bliss. The moment we arrived, the scent of the salty sea and the sound of crashing waves filled us with excitement. We spent the days building sandcastles, swimming in the crystal-clear water, and lounging under umbrellas. The highlight was a sunset walk along the shore, where the sky turned bright shades of orange and pink, followed by a romantic, fresh seafood dinner at a beachside restaurant. It was an, absolutely, unforgettable day filled with laughter, bonding, and beautiful, lasting, memories

Exceptional experience - Thanks to our 2 guides who made us live an extraordinary experience with dolphins in respect.
They adapted the trip according to the number of boats present (and pressing mammals ... )
We were able to enjoy the snorkeling and the small break on the sandbank before returning to the dolphins and diving with them.
Bravo for this mentality and Thank you

A trusty company with the best staff - I would highlight the great dedication of Barnaba staff, their professionality and kindness. I was specially impressed when the boat crew refused to start chasing dolphins with a lot of other boats and made the best effort to enjoy the experience in a respectful manner to the marine life. This implied an extra effort and time for them, but they did all possible to be alone with the dolphins

Loved it - We had an absolutely amazing experience with the snorkeling and dolphin safari! From the very beginning, we felt well taken care of. The boat crew was incredibly skilled, professional, and very focused on safety, which made us feel comfortable and secure throughout the entire trip.
And the dolphins – wow! We got to see so many dolphins 🐬 It was truly magical to watch them swimming so close to the boat. An unforgettable experience!
The snorkeling was also so much fun. The water was clear and beautiful, and we really enjoyed our time in the ocean. Afterwards, we were served fresh and delicious fruit, which was perfect after being in the water.
Highly recommended to anyone considering a snorkeling and dolphin safari! 🌊

Recommendation, the guides pay attention to animal welfare! - Good and fast communication with the organizer. Our two guides were fantastic with very good humor. The tour was very good, our desire not to chase the dolphins was taken into account 100%, nevertheless briefly saw the dolphins before it got full with boats. Ludo our tour guide got informed on the way back to the dolphins and offered to go to the dolphins again, but since it was very crowded again, we decided to finish the tour together. We wish everyone else a nice tour and that you also take animal welfare into account.
Ludo best man!!

Absolutely unforgettable snorkeling & dolphin experience at Mnemba Island - We had an absolutely fantastic snorkeling trip to Mnemba Island today, combined with dolphin swimming, and it exceeded all our expectations.
The snorkeling itself was incredible – crystal clear water and an amazing variety of colorful fish. Truly one of the best snorkeling experiences we’ve had, maybe only small minus was that it was really crowded with boats and people from other companies there as well…
A special and very heartfelt thank you to our deckhand Hassan and the boat captain, who both did an outstanding job. They really went the extra mile to give us the best possible experience. It was clear that they knew exactly where to find the dolphins and, most importantly, they showed great respect for them in the wild.
When there were too many boats at the first dolphin spot, they made a thoughtful and responsible decision to change the plan to avoid stressing the dolphins. Instead, we started snorkeling earlier and then searched for dolphins at a different location on the way back – which worked perfectly and gave us the chance to swim with them in a calm and respectful way.
Because of this change, we didn’t have time for the sandbank stop, but it was 100% worth it. All of us valued the dolphin experience far more, and we truly appreciated how flexible, knowledgeable, and ethical the boat team was.
Highly recommended – an unforgettable experience thanks to an amazing and professional crew!

Amazing experience with brilliant tour guides! 🐬 - We did a lot of research into this activity before booking due to a lot of these tours being quite unethical but decided to book with these guys after reading the reviews and did not regret it one bit! A lot of tours will involve finding the pod of dolphins, having huge amounts of boats surrounding them and making you jump in, these guys did not do that, instead they drove away from the crowds and had us jump in at an area ahead of where the dolphins were swimming, making it much less stressful for the dolphins and a much more pleasant experience for us! The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable, really looked after their customers and provided a gorgeous platter of fresh fruit! The tour also included snorkelling close to Mnemba island, the tour guide snorkelled with us showing us the best spots to find the fish. We absolutely loved this experience and would highly recommend! Thank you so much for one of the best days we had on our trip to Zanzibar!

Baby dolphins up close! - Great value tour with very kind guides. They have the best eyes in the business & were able to get us SO close multiple times. Unfortunately the sand bar was covered by the tide, but instead they took us to a beach for a fruit break. Very fun boat ride! I was scared to jump in the water on top of the dolphins, so I waited a little bit and yet I still saw the baby dolphins with their pods up close. I sincerely recommend this tour!

Mnemba snorkel and swim with the dolphins not a good experience. - Mnemba snorkeling and dolphin activity was not a good experience. We were picked up at 7:30am and taken to a beach less than 1/2 mile from the hotel. We waited 80 minutes to board a boat. We had to ask for beach chairs to sit while waiting so long. Very disorganized. We finally boarded at 8:40am. There was no explanation of the safety, trip expectations or timing, The boat had no life jackets. A few in our boat could not swim. Also-we had to stop at another area to pickup more flippers. The first stop was to see dolphin. We arrived to the area and counted almost 50 boats “parked” next to each other. Most of the neighboring boats were served a platter of fruits. Our crew forgot a knife for fruit cutting and had to seek to borrow one. The water was a bit choppy and we only saw 3 dolphin. Too many boats in one area. We moved to the next area near the island. The fish were limited. The last stop seemed to be filling time. It was low tide so we could get off the boat to walk in the water. There were 10 passengers on this tour and some seemed nervous from never snorkel, complaining of disorganization and/ or disappointed of the overall tour. The two in crew didn’t interact or seem to care. Also one of the passengers asked how much each paid and it was shocking the range from $23 to $70 per person on the same boat. (Transport of less than 1 mile to the boat shouldn’t raise the rate that much more).
