Day 2: Big Tree Camp → Shira 1 Camp (3,500m)

Emerge from the forest into expansive moorland, with breathtaking views of Shira Plateau and Kibo Peak. Spend the night at Shira 1 Camp.
Day 3: Shira 1 → Shira 2 Camp (3,840m)

A relatively easy trek across the Shira Plateau, offering excellent acclimatization and stunning panoramas. Overnight at Shira 2 Camp.
Day 4: Shira 2 → Lava Tower (4,630m) → Barranco Camp (3,960m)

Climb to the Lava Tower for altitude adjustment, then descend into the picturesque Barranco Valley. Overnight stay beneath the Barranco Wall.
Day 5: Barranco Camp → Karanga Camp (3,995m)

Ascend the famous Barranco Wall (a non-technical scramble) and continue through alpine terrain to Karanga Camp.

Summit day! Begin at midnight, pass Stella Point (5,739m), and reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Celebrate before descending to Mweka Camp.
Day 8: Mweka Camp → Mweka Gate (1,640m)

Final descent through the lush rainforest. At Mweka Gate, receive summit certificates and transfer to Moshi or Arusha.
