Day 2: Machame Camp (2,835m) to Shira Cave Camp (3,750m)

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp (3,850m) to Barranco Camp (3,900m) via Lava Tower (4,600m)

Day 4: Barranco Camp (3,900m) to Karanga Camp (3,995m)

You’re almost there! A short but steep trek leads to Barafu Camp, the base camp for the final push to the summit. After an early dinner, get some rest as summit night begins at midnight!

Day 6: Barafu Camp (4,673m) to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), then down to Millennium Camp (3,950m)

The big moment has arrived! Begin your summit trek at midnight, climbing steep slopes toward Stella Point (5,756m). As the sun rises, make the final push to Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa!

Congratulations, you’ve made it! After soaking in the stunning views, descend back to Barafu Camp for a brief rest, then continue down to Millennium Camp for the night.

Day 7: Millennium Camp (3,950m) to Mweka Gate (1,640m)

Distance: 14 km

The final descent leads through lush forests to Mweka Gate, where you’ll receive your well-deserved summit certificate. Celebrate your achievement before heading back to Moshi for a hot shower, a delicious meal, and a well-earned rest.
