Arusha - Tarangire National Park - Karatu

Tarangire National Park - The tour begins with a journey to Tarangire, the third largest national park in northern Tanzania, known for its exceptionally large elephant population. The park is adorned with majestic baobab trees, which tower over the animals grazing beneath them. Wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River, the area’s only permanent water source. The park boasts a rich variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to six thousand elephants. Guests will depart from Arusha with lunch boxes and enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site overlooking the Tarangire River, before continuing to Karatu, located outside the park with a stunning view.

Karatu - Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, with a picnic lunch provided. Following a stop for lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in the Serengeti, the tour proceeds deeper into the park for a game drive. Later, guests will head to their tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, the tour moves to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending into the crater for an exciting game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With its 2000 ft. high walls, the crater has the highest density of wild animals worldwide, as very few animals migrate in and out. Species include lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, numerous birds, and more. Visitors may have the chance to see the ‘Big Five’ in a single day. Later, the tour ascends from the crater floor and travels to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Karatu - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, the tour continues with a drive to Lake Manyara. Nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is renowned for its stunning beauty. Visitors can observe a variety of game animals, including buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, and others. Later, the tour returns to Arusha, where guests will be dropped off at their lodge or Mount Meru Hotel.
