Tarangire National Park - Begin your first safari day at 7:30 AM. The safari guide will collect you from your hotel or another prearranged location. By 10:00 AM, you will arrive at Tarangire and embark on your initial game drive!

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - Discover the legendary Ngorongoro Crater! Here, you will observe tens of thousands of wild animals residing in the vast crater formed by an ancient volcanic eruption. Despite its relatively small size, the crater boasts the highest density of animal species per square meter globally! You are guaranteed to see numerous animals in close proximity to each other.

The descent into the crater takes approximately thirty minutes by car. The route winds through beautiful, lush forests offering stunning views.

After your morning game drive around the crater, you will pause at the picnic area beside Lake Magadi for a snack and rest. Lake Magadi is famous for its resident hippos, providing delightful viewing as you enjoy lunch. Due to its abundant wildlife and unique flora, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its global natural significance.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, the safari continues with a transfer to the central Serengeti, known as Seronera. Here, your driver will endeavor to locate the animals you are most eager to see. Near lunchtime, you can visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre, where a lunchbox will be provided, along with fascinating information about the animal populations and the park’s history. In this area, you may also encounter hyraxes, the closest relatives to elephants.

Alternatively, returning to your camp for a quick lunch and nap is recommended before resuming the safari at sunset to capture the golden hour.

The Serengeti is home to thousands of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, ostriches, giraffes, jackals, hyenas, lions, antelopes, leopards, and cheetahs—keep your eyes open and relish the surrounding nature.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Today marks your final day in central Serengeti. Each day in the savannah offers new and thrilling experiences. The lions lounging yesterday might be hunting today, and inquisitive elephants may approach. You might even spot a cheetah atop your safari vehicle!

This is also an excellent chance to view the renowned Kopjes—scenic volcanic rock formations perfect for photography as animals rest in their shade.

Don’t miss Simba Rock, the real-life inspiration for the iconic scene in “The Lion King” where Mufasa presents baby Simba. Witness the very rock that inspired the beloved animation!

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Another day to explore the expansive Serengeti plains! This park is a vast area teeming with life. It is impossible to see everything in one day; today, your guide will introduce you to new locations and fascinating animals, providing a comprehensive perspective.

The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its vital ecosystem, dense animal population, and the annual Great Migration. Serengeti inspired Disney’s “Lion King” film, but life here is not a cartoon - it is pure, wild, and beautiful.

By dinner, you will arrive at your hotel in Arusha (alternative drop-off points are available upon request).
