With picnic lunch packets in hand, drive to Lake Manyara Park for a morning game drive, lasting until the afternoon. Enjoy sightings of lions, hippos, antelopes, impalas, and zebras right beside your safari vehicle.

During flamingo season, the lake is adorned with flamingos feeding on algae along the shore.

After lunch, embark on a guided walking safari inside the park, typically accompanied by an armed ranger. This walking safari offers a refreshing change from traditional game drives.

Following an early dinner, depart the camp around 8:00 pm for a three-hour night game drive. Your expert guide will lead you through the park’s diverse habitats in search of nocturnal animals and sounds. At 10:30 pm, drive to Migombani camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park: Game Drive En Route

Serengeti National Park - After an early breakfast, journey to Serengeti National Park for an afternoon of game watching and photography.

Today, embark on an exciting journey with a game drive en route to Nabi Hill Gate, where you’ll have lunch around 2:30 pm while your driver confirms entrance fees. Capture stunning views of the landscapes on your way to Serengeti and enjoy a glimpse of the Ngorongoro Crater, though no game drive will be conducted there.

In the late afternoon, continue game watching in Serengeti until sunset. After witnessing the sunset in Serengeti National Park, prepare for a shower and dinner at the public campsite. Current wildlife statistics indicate that Serengeti is home to over 1,300,000 wildebeests, 250,000 Thomson’s gazelles, 200,000 zebras, 70,000 impalas, 50,000 topis, 30,000 Grant’s gazelles, 10,000 elands, and numerous antelopes and predators. Serengeti Wildebeest Migration

Serengeti National Park - Start your day early at 5:45 am with breakfast and picnic lunch boxes. Embark on an exhilarating sunrise game drive and enjoy a full day of exploration in Serengeti National Park.

Your driver-guide will select the best locations for observing the park’s wildlife and the Wildebeest Migration, depending on the season.

Spend time at the hippo pool, observing these massive creatures relaxing in the cool water alongside crocodiles. Witness a large pride of lions gathering amidst the wildebeest migration.

Travel from the expansive plains to the rocky outcrops known as Kopjes, which provide shelter for a variety of animals. From this vantage point, gaze across the vast grasslands of the Serengeti and spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and a diverse array of birdlife.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, enjoy a full game drive en route with a picnic lunch to Simba campsite at the top of the Ngorongoro Crater rim, passing by the intriguing Dr. Leakey Museum at Olduvai Gorge (optional visit).

Travel through the Serengeti plains, a world-renowned natural wonder and iconic African landscape. Encounter wild predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards resting in tree branches, as well as flamingos and water birds on Lake Magadi, and lovebirds and kingfishers along the Seronera River Valley.

In Serengeti, witness millions of large wild mammals and possibly the wildebeest migration. Depart with game watching across the Kopjes of Serengeti to explore cheetahs, lions, and leopards. Hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, elephants, and small antelopes abound, thriving in this plain.

Ngorongoro Crater Floor

Ngorongoro Crater - Descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for six hours of game viewing with a picnic lunch. Spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and other wildlife.

At Ngorongoro Crater’s Soda Lake, observe numerous bird species, including flamingos. These animals support large predators like lions and leopards, as well as scavengers such as hyenas and jackals.

Walking 7 Hours Ngorongoro Crater Rim through Acacia Forest

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, drive one kilometer with picnic lunch boxes from Simba campsite to the starting point at the northern rim of Ngorongoro. Begin a walk through the acacia forest, accompanied by a Maasai warrior, donkeys (to carry your luggage), and an armed ranger, enjoying a splendid view of Ngorongoro Crater.

Walk 17 km through the acacia forest on the rim of Ngorongoro, encountering numerous birds and wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, bushbucks, and various species.

Walking Crater Rim 7 Hours Leyanai to Elkiepusi

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, continue walking 17 km with picnic lunch boxes, accompanied by a Maasai warrior, donkeys, and an armed ranger along the crater rim from Leianai to Ilkiepusi. This 6-7 hour trek crosses the acacia forest and offers views of the crater from the rim.

Encounter a variety of wildlife, including buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, elephants, giraffes, and birds.

Tarangire National Park: Game Drives

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, walk about half a kilometer, where a car will pick you up and take you to Tarangire National Park for a full day of game drives with picnic lunches.

Tarangire National Park spans 2,600 square kilometers, and during dry periods, the concentration of animals rivals that of the renowned Serengeti. The wildlife numbers are impressive: 30,000 zebras, 25,000 wildebeests, 5,000 buffaloes, 3,000 elephants, 2,500 Maasai giraffes, and over 1,000 fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok). Predators include lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Additionally, enjoy sightings of bird flocks, such as green wood hoopoes, Fischer’s lovebirds, white-bellied go-away birds, and giant kingfishers.

In the late evening, return to your hotel in Arusha Town.
