Tarangire National Park - Guests will be collected from their accommodation in Usa River and transported to Tarangire National Park with picnic lunch boxes. As one of Tanzania’s largest national parks, located in the Manyara region, it is renowned for the Tarangire River, which flows year-round and serves as the sole water source for wildlife during dry seasons. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Marera View Lodge.
Central Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park in Central Seronera. This park is famous for its abundant resident wildlife, especially the “Big Five”: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Serengeti hosts approximately 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles that join the wildebeests’ migration for fresh grazing. Experience the thrilling sounds of over 6 million hooves thundering across the open plains of Serengeti, just as imagined. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge.
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later, depart for Ngorongoro Crater Rim with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest collapsed volcanic crater, offering fourteen kilometers of secluded natural beauty. Encircled by extinct volcanoes, the crater floor, dotted with watering holes, is home to around 30,000 animals. The eventful day concludes with a hearty dinner and a restful night at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge.
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, embark on an early morning drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site, located west of Arusha in Tanzania’s crater highlands, is named after Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest caldera. The breathtaking landscape of Ngorongoro, with its vast highland plains and dense wildlife population of approximately 25,000 animals, makes it one of the most exotic natural wonders on earth. Dinner and overnight stay will be at Marera View Lodge.
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, travel to Lake Manyara. The park is named after the Maasai word “Manyara,” referring to the Euphorbia Tirucalli plant, which the Maasai use to construct livestock enclosures. Manyara forms a durable, stock-proof hedge. A specimen of Euphorbia Tirucalli can be seen at the park entrance. The Great Rift Valley, a fault line in the earth’s crust, stretches 8,000 kilometers (4,971 miles) from Turkey to the Zambezi River’s mouth in Mozambique. The fault is so vast that astronauts could see the Rift Valley from the moon. In the afternoon, guests will be transported to their hotel in Usa River.
