5* Experience in Tanzania with Safari Soles - When my wife and I thought about going on a safari to the Serengeti, we had this idea of what that would be based on research, but what Safari Soles delivered far exceeded anything we could have ever imagined! From the beginning, this company was top tier. Upon emailing them, I received an itinerary within 24 hours from Jamal Mwakilembe. This itinerary was based on the information I provided them, but anything I wanted to edit, they worked with me to form the perfect itinerary for the time we were there. Jamal provided information on all things we would need to travel to Tanzania including travel visas, packing tips, information on the Safari, what to expect, and images/videos of safaris that had just ended. Upon arrival, they had a driver waiting for us at the airport to make our transfer to Arusha seamless! The night of arrival, we had a customer support representative, Catherine, reach out to us to introduce herself and ensure we had everything we needed. Throughout the trip, she was extremely responsive (within minutes) for any questions we had. As for the safari itself, words cannot express how incredible it was! Our guide, Kelvin Mbise, was the best guide we could have possibly gotten. We did a private safari so it was my wife and I with Kelvin the entire time. Kelvin explained everything that was Tanzania specifically Arusha, each park we went to, the different tribes, and provided information on everything we asked him. Once we hit the parks, Kelvin knew every single spot to take us to in order to maximize our experience. Put it this way, we really only had 3 days to fit Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro in and Kelvin found a way to allow us to see The Big Five, and also three brother cheetahs, unlimited zebras, elephants, hippos, giraffes, hyenas, wildebeests, a crocodile, and several other animals. When I say he found these animals, we were within a few feet of the majority including a mother lion and her cub just after a hunt. Kelvin ensured we had all the photos we wanted and more information on this than we could have imagined! Each day, Kelvin had lunch for us in a picnic area that had an incredible view. He had our vehicle stocked with water, soda, juice, beer and wine each day and was willing to stop anywhere along the way for restroom breaks. The accommodations each night well exceeded expectations and the food was outstanding. There were either bonfires or shows each night after dinner and the staff was very friendly. If you’re looking for an experience you will never forget, go with Safari Soles! Also, request Kelvin as your guide. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Absolutely Amazing Experience! - Our Safari was a 6 day private tour of Tarangire National Park, East, Central and Northern Serengeti and our last day was at Ngorogoro crater. It was truly amazing and we actually got use to the free daily “African Massage!” Absolutely loved the lodges and tent camps, the staff were so kind, accommodating and fun. Our fabulous driver and Safari Guide, Innocent, was amazing and full of knowledge on Tanzania, the tribes, the animals, the birds and more. He always made sure we were looked after, we got into a sparkly clean Jeep every day and he ensured dietary restrictions were always looked after. We thoroughly enjoyed Innocent’s enthusiasm and patience to find all the animals we wanted to see. Dinner conversations were a bonus and lots of fun. Most engaging, knowledgeable and fun guide I’ve ever had! We included the hot air balloon ride over the Northern Serengeti and it was definitely worth it! I would definitely recommend Safari Soles for a safari and if you can, ask for Innocent! 😁

Excellent service and breath taking experiences - We used Safari Sole Tours to plan the luxury safari experience as part of our honeymoon to Tanzania. Patrick did an amazing job catering to our needs and budget, accommodating changes and was always quick to respond, very thorough and professional throughout. Fadhi our Safari Soles guide was brilliant; very knowledgeable and just the most amazing driver in dealing with the road conditions! We were so lucky to have the close up experiences we did in such a short time and this was down to our guide's knowledge and experience of the area and the animals habits. Our photos were all taken on phone camera which goes to show how close we were. We then used Safari Soles Zanzibar office to plan a last minute tour and ferry transfers in Stonetown at the end of the beach holiday part of our honeymoon. I can't recommend Safari Sole Tours highly enough.

Incredible Safari Experience with an Amazing Guide! - We had an amazing safari in Tanzania. The jeep was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for game viewing. Our guide, Jephter, was absolutely fantastic — knowledgeable, friendly, and always going the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience possible. The staff is very supportive and communication was great. Highly recommended!

Stellar Customer Support - Any tour company can book lodging and a driver and you will have a magical experience. The true test of a quality company is when things go wrong after you have paid them in full. Renata at Safari Soles came through for us when there was a problem and made us feel valued. We booked a safari to begin at Serengeti and finish at the Namanga border to return to Kenya. We saw loads of wildlife and stayed in very nice accommodations. This trip required the coordination of Safari Soles and another tour operator in Kenya. From the beginning of the process, Renata was responsive at all hours, making many changes to itinerary and lodging to bring the price to our budget. She was always available to answer all my questions and concerns. When our visas were taking longer than anticipated, Renata made some calls and we had them that afternoon. Near the end of our trip I realized that we were scheduled to be dropped at the Kenyan border the day before we were to be picked up by the other tour operator. I immediately contacted both companies. Once again, Renata came to the rescue! She found us accommodations for the night in Arusha and offered to organize an excursion for us the next day. We decided to just spend some time in town and do some shopping so she organized a driver for us to take us around and the bring us to the border, all complimentary. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Renata and Safari Soles! I recommend them to anyone planning to visit Tanzania.

Fantastic Safari with Richard & Action – Unforgettable Experience! - We did a 6-day safari with Richard from Safari Soles and had the best time! Richard was a great guide - super sharp eyes on game drives, fun to be around, and always made sure our group of 6 was well taken care of. We camped each night and the setup was always ready thanks to the amazing supplies team. Action, our chef, cooked delicious meals every day and worked so hard behind the scenes - always up early and making everything run smoothly. Richard and Action are an incredible team. Highly recommend Safari Soles for an unforgettable safari!

once-in-a-lifetime experience - We went on a multi-day safari tour through Tarangire National Park, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater — and it was truly unforgettable! Our guide Isaack went above and beyond to tailor the experience to our interests. He made sure we got to see the animals we were most excited about while still making sure we didn’t miss out on the Big Five. He was a kind, attentive, and safe driver throughout the journey. A special thank you also goes to Richard, who took care of our meals during the trip. Even in the middle of the Serengeti, he managed to create absolutely incredible meals every single day. Isaack and Richard made this safari a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we still talk about as one of our favorite memories. Highly recommended!

This really EXCEEDED our expectations. Trip of a Lifetime! Do THIS! You won't regret it. - I can not BEGIN to tell everyone just how PERFECT our Safari Soles Adventure was. Jamal Mwakilembe, our Booking Agent & Tour Organiziner was absolutely the BEST. He arranged an amazing 5 day, mid-range safari that was within our requested budget. We asked for a mix of tenting & lodges & we GOT exactly what we hoped for. He custom built the tour, meals, & accommadations according to our needs. He was consistently available from the planning stages, during the actual trip, right up to the end of the trip. He even welcomed questions & gave support AFTER the safari, (while we were in Zanzibar, even though we booked that part ourselves). He was still supporting us & offering helpful information & advice. From the airport flights, to making sure the transfer drivers were there to pick us up, & throughout the entire journey-Jamal was there for us-every step of the way. On a daily basis we could get in touch with him ANY time, & he responded. I felt safe & secure that we were being looked after with great care & professionalism.
