Safari in Trangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Arusha. Big Five, great comfort and luxury and impeccable organization - A perfect Tanzanian safari: wild nature, amazing lodges and impeccable organization I have just finished a week-long safari in Tanzania with African Safari Travel and it has been, without a doubt, one of the most spectacular experiences I have ever experienced. The trip was perfectly organized and each stage had something special that made it unforgettable. We start with a night in Tarangire National Park, staying at the Serval Safari camp. It was a place I loved: very comfortable, elegant and where I felt completely safe. The food was delicious and the setting was beautiful, a perfect way to start the adventure. From Tarangire we headed towards Ngorongoro, staying overnight in Karatu in a lodge with spectacular views that reminded me a lot of the coffee farms I have visited in other countries. The next day we visited Ngorongoro Crater, which for me was probably the most impressive part of the trip. I traveled during the rainy season and the scenery seemed almost like Noah’s Ark: in a single day we saw virtually all the Big Five, as well as many other animals. Then we continued to Serengeti, where I spent three nights in three different camps. The first was in the Ndutu area, in the In the Wind camp, which reminded me totally of the movie Memories of Africa. From the porch of the store you could see zebras grazing quietly and the atmosphere was absolutely magical. Access to the camp is somewhat difficult, making the experience even more special and authentic. Also, the decor was beautiful and everything was tastefully done. Over the next few days we toured different areas of the Serengeti, seeing the migration of wildebeest and zebras, as well as leopards, lions and many other animals. One of the nights I stayed at the Meliá Serengeti, probably the hotel with the best views I have ever been to. The food was spectacular and we dined at the Boma restaurant, inspired by the Masai villages, where they also told us more about their culture and way of life. The hotel even has a gym, something I was very grateful for because on a safari you spend many hours in the car during game drives. And here I want to highlight something important: African Safari Travel 4x4s are extremely comfortable and very well equipped, with plugs, wifi, snacks and refreshments to make journeys much more enjoyable. During the trip we saw other travelers who went with other agencies and clearly had less comfort in the cars during the long safari days. In addition, I traveled in the rainy season, so many roads and paths within the parks were in very bad shape. On several occasions we saw other vehicles get stuck in the mud. However, our driver handled all situations with enormous skill and experience, perfectly circumventing each complicated stretch. At no time did I feel insecure, on the contrary, the great knowledge of the terrain and the professionalism of the guides was evident. After the night in Meliá Serengeti I spent one last night in another beautiful camp called Out of Africa, before flying from Seronera Airfield in Serengeti to Arusha. This domestic flight was the perfect snap for the trip, as being able to see the Serengeti from the air was absolutely stunning. I spent the last night at Gran Meliá Arusha, where I was lucky enough to see both Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro. There were also curious moments during the safari: on several occasions other travelers traveling with better known agencies looked with some envy at the picnics that our guides prepared, because they were incredibly well organized and cared for. I want to mention especially our guides Eric and George, who made the trip even more special thanks to their knowledge, professionalism and constant attention. The food throughout the safari was delicious. There are always options for all tastes, including vegetarian. Breakfasts are plentiful (with eggs prepared as you prefer) and desserts are amazing. Besides, the beds surprised me a lot: probably the most comfortable in which I have slept. I highly recommend traveling with African Safari Travel. It has been an unforgettable experience and I hope to repeat soon to return to Tanzania, this time to do the balloon safari over the Serengeti and perhaps even try to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. An absolutely spectacular trip.

Kilimanjaro, Safari, Tribes and Zanzibar - Definitely the best trip we have made to date. Incredible landscapes, wild nature and a culture that falls in love. It certainly would not have been the same without the African Safari team, from the local guides Magogo, Gipson, Furtunatus, Isaac who were watching us for any details as well as the professionalism with which they perform their work and the countless moments of laughter that we lived, such as the follow-up from the offices in Spain, making sure that everything was well and always attentive to absorb any doubts that we might have during the trip. If we return to Tanzania we are clear!

An unforgettable journey, we will always be grateful - Our experience with African Safari Travel has been simply spectacular. It has been the trip of our honeymoon in Tanzania and, without a doubt, the most unforgettable of our life. From the start, the service was spotless. Alfredo, our agent, took care of every detail in organizing the trip and designed a perfect itinerary for us. It is noticeable when someone works with passion and experience, making our experience special from the first moment. During the safari we were lucky to have San and George as guides and driver. Not only were they great professionals, but they made the experience even more special. We take not only amazing memories, but also two good friends. The hotels were absolutely dreamy, each better than the last. And the safari... it was like living inside the Lion King movie. Wilderness, breathtaking scenery and moments we will never forget. We are deeply grateful for everything. We would repeat without hesitation and recommend African Safari Travel 100% for anyone who wants to live a unique experience.

Fully recommended - An unforgettable experience, a luxury to have had Loasa, a magnificent guide in Spanish and Fortunatus, the best safari driver you can have, have always been watching us and have made the safari a truly wonderful experience. Excellent accommodations, more than right food and hotel staff, super friendly and lovely people. The nights at the Sidai Camp, brutal, the environment is something indescribable, you have to live it, I recommend this accommodation 100x100. As a suggestion, I consider the first day excursion (falls), something "hard" after almost 20 hours of flight to reach the country. And, as an aspect of improvement, perhaps visit first Ngorongoro and then Serengeti, because once you have seen the animal wealth that is in the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro is small 😉. In short, a spectacular safari ♥️, and attention by African Safari from "10", highly recommended 👍

Impressed, excited and grateful - It has been an amazing experience at all levels. We have seen many wild animals in action and a few meters from the SUV, always with the relevant explanations from our guide David and our driver George. Both incredibly qualified and exceptional people. The organization has always been excellent and we could not enjoy more. 100% recommended. Thanks for this experience!

Perfect choice - Oh, great. Attentive from day one to all our needs. Absolutely professional guide and driver, make you feel comfortable and safe. GREAT knowledge of fauna and flora in an always jovial environment. You see them as part of your family. By the way, we asked for transfers to and from nairobi and were on time with a luxury car for the two of us for very little money. They like to receive feedback to make their next customers even more satisfied and that says a lot about them. The hotels chosen fabulous...the food somewhat scarce but they have promised to solve it. A 10!

Travel to Tanzania with friends - A lovely trip, the country is very nice and the local people are very friendly. Our trip was a trip of friends and our guide Sam and Elias, the driver, made the trip something special. They both put a lot of enthusiasm into what they do and strive to try to find the animals. They're trying to show you a little bit of their country and their culture.
