Arusha → Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - Guests will be collected early (usually around 6 a.m.) from their hotel in Arusha. Departing Arusha, the journey heads towards the Serengeti. Along the way, travelers will likely pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with opportunities to stop at scenic viewpoints, such as the crater rim, or for brief cultural visits. For those on a budget tour, the drive typically takes about 6-7 hours.
Arriving in the Serengeti by early to mid-afternoon, guests will check into their accommodation, which could be a camp or lodge, depending on the chosen level. An afternoon game drive in the park will provide the first wildlife encounter.
Overnight stay in the Serengeti is usually in shared tours, either camping or in budget lodges. Dinner is included.

Full Day in Serengeti → Transfer to Ngorongoro Rim

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast in the Serengeti, enjoy a full day of game drives. Many tours start early to take advantage of the morning wildlife activity, with some splitting into morning and afternoon drives.
Following lunch, often a picnic, guests will depart the Serengeti and head towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area or crater rim area for an overnight stay. This positions guests for the major crater drive the next day.
Overnight accommodations are near the Ngorongoro rim or within the conservation area, either camping or in a budget lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive → Return to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive on the crater floor. This unique ecosystem is home to many animals, as the crater acts as a natural enclosure, supporting resident and migratory species.
After lunch, often a picnic on or near the crater floor, guests will ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha, typically arriving in the late afternoon or early evening. This marks the end of the safari.
