Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Begin your journey with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha or the airport, and set off for the Serengeti (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles). The Serengeti National Park is renowned as one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife sanctuaries. Game drives are crafted to bring you close to areas teeming with wildlife, offering a chance to observe animals in their natural environment as they engage in daily activities. As the day cools and the sky is painted with red, gold, and orange hues, you might be delighted by the roar of a lion, the swift movement of a giraffe, or the high-pitched laughter of hyenas squabbling over a meal. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the Serengeti Public Campsite.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Begin the day with an early morning game drive after a cup of coffee. The Serengeti is most lively at this time, showcasing Africa’s cooler side, so it’s advisable to dress warmly (we aim to be on the road before sunrise at around 6:00 am). Few predators hunt during the heat of the day, making early morning the prime time to witness the excitement of the chase. This is also a magical time, with the gentle light illuminating the landscape, birds awakening, and the sense of a grand adventure unfolding. We’ll return to the camp for brunch before departing for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and an overnight stay at the Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Arusha - After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning. The Ngorongoro Crater provides some of the finest wildlife viewing in Africa. All the major safari animals are present in large numbers. The resident population of black rhinos is a special highlight, as rhinos are challenging to spot elsewhere in Tanzania. The crater also hosts impressive elephant bulls with enormous tusks. Lake Magadi often attracts large flocks of flamingos. Enjoy lunch at the picnic site and continue with game drives until check-out time. After the game drives, return to Arusha or the airport for drop-off.
