Life Changing! - One of the most memorable experiences I’ll ever have!!! Everything was fantastic! We saw SO many animals, had delicious food (thank you Lucas, Tito, and Felix!), and an AWESOME guide (Luther is the best!) we found all the BIG FIVE and even saw most of them multiple times! Camping was fun, though sleep was a little challenging between dogs, cars, and people the first night and wild animals the last two. But we’d take the wild animals over the people, dogs and cars any day. That would probably be the only thing I’d change is camp in their lodges instead. (I didn’t know that was an option) but camping in the middle of the Serengeti and above a crater I will never regret! Thank you Suricata Safaris!

Incredible safari with Suricata. - A few weeks ago we had the honor to do a safari with Suricata. We chose the 4 day safari with camping (Serengeti, Ngorogoro and Tarangire). Airport transfers as well as hotel accommodation before and after the safari were included and were truly impeccable. Our guide, Adam, was absolutely a craftsman. He has an eagle's eye for spotting animals and is a vessel full of knowledge. He was able to give a clear answer to every one of our 10 000 questions without any doubt. The passion was very evident. Despite the fact that it was rainy season, after 3 days we could already check off the big 5, so the 4th day was just bonus! We shared the the car with 2 other couples and this was very comfortable. In the evening upon arrival at the camp site, your tent is already up and you only have to put your personal items in it. The kitchen team always provided very tasty, varied and sufficient food. In short we would absolutely recommend Suricata!

Magical experience - Together with my boyfriend we did the 4-day safari to Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The experience was truly magical! We saw the big five and more and we camped in the middle of the Serengeti. We shared the jeep together with four other people which was really nice because you got to meet new people and share the same adventure with each other. Our guide was Adam and he truly was the best! He knew everything and he could answer every question we had. He could spot the animals from miles away and he always tried his best to give us the best spots to view the animals. The experience is definitely worth every penny and we would recommend booking your safari adventure with Suricata Safaris. Everything is also arranged for you, from airport pick-up to your lunch in the middle of nowhere. So you have nothing to worry about and you can enjoy the experience to the fullest.

Recommended!!! - Safari could focus on having fun without any worries! It was a great tour to see all of BIG5 thanks to our good guide Amiri!! The chef always accompanied us with fresh and easy to eat local food, something to worry about in Africa, and it was a safari environment, but it was absolutely amazing!! I was also able to talk to them via chat and they were very supportive during my stay in Tanzania. Suricata safaris was definitely a concern, as we chose a relatively cheap tour on a budget! I don’t usually write reviews, but I’ve given you some real ones because they were really good memories! You can charge it in the car! I get water in a 1.5L plastic bottle every day! It's a different meal every day! Rice, noodles, bread. Rankle. Flowing safari specification, no problem with the ride! There was a cushion. You should bring your own binoculars (no rental)

Dream holiday - once in a lifetime experience 5 star!!!!! - I took part on the 4 day camping safari, from airport pickup to airport drop off we had an amazing time. Our guide Charles was so knowledgeable and positive during the whole trip we felt at ease with him and so lucky to have had him as our guide. The parks we visited were beautiful and accommodation was fantastic too - the sunsets and sunrises will be remembered forever. Not only did we have a wonderful guide Charles but our Chef Samsun and his team provided us with delicious home cooked meals daily even when we were at the parks we had warm freshly cooked meals, catering to our dietary requirements too! — This team also welcomed us to our campsites each nights and made sure we had everything we needed to be at home. We were well informed during the whole trip and updated regularly about our schedule for each morning, afternoon and evening. I would highly recommend Suricata Safaris and will definitely be using them again and passing details to family and friends! - Thank you so much for making our stay so memorable!!!!!!!!!

Unforgettable 4-Day Safari – We Saw the Big Five and So Much More! - My sister and I did the 4-day group camping safari in March 2026, and we can truly recommend it from the bottom of our hearts. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the whole experience was simply unforgettable. We were picked up on the first day of the safari and also brought back afterwards, which made the whole trip very easy and stress-free. Our guide Filex was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely dedicated and always tried his best to show us as many animals as possible. You could really tell how experienced he is — he always seemed to know exactly where to find the animals. Thanks to him, we even managed to see a leopard, which is usually very difficult to spot, as well as several rhinos, which are also quite rare to see. In just four days, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, plus many, many other animals. During the safari, you go on many game drives, which means you really get lots of opportunities to see wildlife. We were amazed by how many animals we saw over the four days. The food was also great. Fresh meals were prepared three times a day. If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or if you are vegetarian, that is not a problem at all — they take this into consideration and prepare suitable meals. For the camping itself, we would recommend bringing a quick-dry towel, soap, and toilet paper, as these are not provided at the campsite. It is also a good idea to bring enough cash for tips. Overall, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We felt safe, well looked after, and very welcome during the entire trip. We would absolutely recommend this safari to anyone considering it.

Good value for money! - We decided to go on the camping safari. The whole experience was truly unique. Our guide was able to show us all “big five”. We went on sunrise safaris, slept in the middle of the Serengetis wilderness and watched an incredible number of animal families. Our guide knew well and knew many special places. The food was always enough and super delicious! Everything was also taken care of and everything was organized from front to back. There were only a few points: Our guide was super experienced but showed little enthusiasm. He was partly annoyed by our questions and talked little. An evening before, a staff member came to our hotel and went through everything with us. Only then were we told that we had to bring our own toilet paper and towels. Of course, this is unfavourable a day before. You felt a little unprepared.

Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro - We had an amazing tour through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Our guide Elias was sensational! Outstanding nice, very experienced and eyes like an eagle! His efforts made the experience even better. He knew exactly what he was doing. The serengeti were flooded the week before our arrival so the roads were muddy sometimes but Elias knew exactly which way he can use and we felt safe all the time. The campsites especially the Simba Campsite offered some close encounters with buffalos! Verry exciting. The only reason for 4 Stars instead of 5 is the following. Maybe It would be better that familys of four with small children have to book a private safari. We paid a lot of money and its very annoying and not really enjoyable sometimes when there is a small child talking all the time and screaming sometimes. Not the Kid's fault but maybe the organisation could do better. Anyways, Elias was 10/10 as a Guide.
