Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your lodge for the 2-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Renowned for its elephant herds, expansive savannah, iconic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps, the park is named after the life-sustaining Tarangire River, where wildlife congregates. You might spot giraffes, bushbuck, hartebeest, as well as buffalo, zebra, and wildebeest, all under the watchful eyes of predators like lions and leopards. From the open roof of our modern safari truck, you’ll have the opportunity to take in the landscape and wildlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch featuring a variety of dishes, coffee, and soft drinks. After a day full of exploration, we’ll proceed to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner in a beautiful setting, and retire to your well-appointed quarters at your leisure.

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Following an early breakfast, we prepare and set off for the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest volcanic caldera. Spanning nearly 20km wide and 600m deep, this stunning caldera, formed from a volcanic eruption three million years ago, was once taller than Kilimanjaro. Known as a self-contained paradise, it hosts an incredible variety of wildlife, including the Big Five. The numerous springs attract animals like wildebeest, gazelles, reedbuck, and over 500 bird species. Around 1400hrs, we head to the Serengeti, arriving at a luxury tented camp by 6:00 p.m. The Serengeti, meaning “Endless Plain” in Maasai, is Tanzania’s largest park, featuring diverse landscapes—grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains—teeming with extraordinary wildlife.

Serengeti National Park to Karatu

Serengeti National Park - We’ll enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on our game drive around 6:30 AM, spending 6-7 hours exploring the vast Serengeti. This park is home to a wide range of wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but it’s most renowned for its migrating herds: 250,000 zebras, 1.5 million wildebeest, and 500,000 antelope. The animals’ journey is influenced by rainfall and varies annually. Alongside the migrating herds, we might witness predators like leopards, cheetahs, and lions in action. By 2:00 PM, we return to Karatu and arrive at our carefully selected mid-range partner lodge for dinner. Relax by the pool, enjoy a digestif by the fire, and unwind in spacious accommodations, ready for a restful night under the African sky.

Lake Manyara National Park To Arusha

Lake Manyara National Park - After a delightful breakfast, we set off on a scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet ecologically rich gem located 120 km west of Arusha. The park is named after its iconic shallow soda lake, which covers 70% of its area. This lake, ever-changing with seasonal flooding, is a haven for flamingos and over 500 bird species. As we explore, we may encounter playful monkeys, graceful giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and if we’re fortunate, the elusive lions lounging in the trees. Lake Manyara’s unique terrain blends lush woodlands, expansive grassy plains, and towering baobab trees, offering a picturesque setting. After an unforgettable day, we return to Arusha for a late-afternoon arrival around 5:00 p.m., marking the end of a remarkable adventure.
