🌟 Unforgettable Safari with Samora Explorers – Highly Recommended! 🌟 - Our journey with Samora Explorers was simply magical. From the first contact to the final moment, everything was perfectly organized and carried out with great passion. Iddy, the owner, was always available, helpful, and incredibly flexible in accommodating our wishes. Communication was smooth and professional – a real asset when planning a dream trip. Our guide Regie was an absolute gem: friendly, humorous, extremely knowledgeable, and with an incredible instinct for wildlife. Thanks to him, we not only saw the “Big Five” but also witnessed rare moments like a lion hunt and a rhinoceros in the Ngorongoro Crater. His ability to spot animals from afar and position us perfectly for photos was truly impressive. The accommodations were outstanding – from luxurious lodges to charming camps in the heart of nature. A special highlight was Harmony Camp, where we watched giraffes right outside our tent in the morning. The meals were a culinary delight: freshly prepared, varied, and lovingly served – even on the road, we enjoyed hot meals instead of the usual lunch boxes. What sets Samora Explorers apart is the combination of local expertise, fair pricing, and genuine passion for what they do. You can feel that this team doesn’t just aim to satisfy guests – they want to inspire them. If you're looking for an authentic, tailor-made, and truly memorable safari in Tanzania, Samora Explorers is the perfect choice. We would book again in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend them. Asante sana, Iddy & team – you gave us a journey of a lifetime!

Best Safari Ever! - Samora Explorers took care of us beyond anything I could've expected. They were super communicative, answered all our questions before arriving, provided all the services needed (airport transfer, lodging in Arusha), and gave me incredible peace of mind. Ben was the best guide and driver! He drove safely in all conditions, taught us amazing details about the parks and animals, always made sure we were ok, and made it his personal mission to make every day exceptional. The food was also above and beyond - full meals for lunches plus complimentary wine, beer, and ample water. We were in the best hands and were given a good chance to relish Tarangire, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.

A humbling experience - This safari was a highlight of a lifetime!!! We were surprised by the variety of landscapes and animals in their natural habitats. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. We were able to see almost all the Big 5!! Only the shy leopard escaped our sight. The lions were very entertaining - with lion cubs feeding. The elephants were amazingly quiet, sneaking up on us. And the rhino made a legendary but distant appearance. Serengeti was like a big ocean, and Ngorongoro was like entering Jurassic Park. It was a humbling experience, and I would highly recommend giving yourself at least 4 days (actually more) so you can take your time to observe the animals and their behavior. Also, the camps and lodges they selected for us along our route were very comfortable and clean. Harmony Safari Camp was our hands-down favorite. Definitely bring a good binoculars with a phone attachment, and keep in mind that the drive gets very dusty. Bring a handkerchief to protect your hair and/or face. And prepare for a great adventure!!!

A life changing experience - This was truly a life changing experience. I don't normally write reviews that are this long, but this experience deserves a full spotlight. The vehicle: The safari vehicle is incredibly comfortable. It has about 7 seats and room for luggage. We were only 3 which was nice because we could jump from seat to seat for the view. The seats are comfortable and the vehicles are cleaned each day. The roof opens up for you to be able to get a better view of the incredible things you'll see. There are outlets, cupholders compartments and pockets and many other things to make this your 4 day home. Each day you have a meal at your lodge and then a lunch is packed for you. This tour company packs real delicious food so you sit down to eat rice and meat and vegetables each day. The guide: Ben!!! He was the perfect guide- really the best guide I've had on a tour led activity. His knowledge of the animals and their behavior shows just how many years he's spent observing everything. He is fun and treats you like family. He himself has fun on the safari, but he takes safety very seriously so there are difficult patches of road in which he concentrates- a point we really appreciated. He went above and beyond by taking us to places to make our hades, to see viewpoints and even to take care of our endless need for bathroom stops. The parks Honestly this Is a must do experience. Many would prefer longer Safari's and it is true that more days in the Serengeti can help you have the chance to see more animals, but we were so happy with the 4 days. It was just long enough to see 4 of the big 5 and a ton of other incredible animals, but it wasn't so long that we got restless being in a car for so many days. The parks will change your life. The facts you learn will give your life more meaning and purpose. The company: I spent a long while researching safari companies and finally chose samora explorers for one important reason - I sensed that we would be treated like family. We are three 20 something girls traveling alone and I wanted us to have a safe feeling like we are family. That is why I chose this company and that is exactly how they have treated me: like family. Iddy was so so helpful. After months of communication he never got frustrated. He always went above and beyond researching things and even giving me discounts and reminders. The company is through, family oriented, trustworthy, and so super helpful. There is no other company if rather have my adventure with!!! Look no further, choose this company!!

Tour of Serengeti Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Tarangiri Park - The views were amazing, the driver Benjamin super friendly. Also lodges and camps were nice and comfortable. If you are looking for an adventure in the savana, Samora is a good choice. You will also be provided with every meals (except for evening drinks) and with water, soft drinks and also bear during all the tour. If you go during Tanzanian winter, my advice is to take with you warm hoodie and jacket, because especially during the moring could be very cold. Also the transfer from Kilimanjaro airport was included.

Amazing Value and Amazing Experience - My wife and I has the absolute best experience with Samora Explorers! Our amazing guide Reggie was nothing short of the perfect person to accompany you on a safari. From his friendliness, knowledge of animals, and incredible ability to spot animals, he made our trip a truly unique experience. Because of Reggie we were able to witness a rare lion hunt. He also found a male and female lion mating just outside the Serengeti hidden in the grass. Time after time, Reggie continued to spot animals all over the place. We saw so many lions in unique positions and exhibiting different behaviors. He was able to show us a Rhino in the Ngorongoro crater, and even Vultures tearing into a Zebra carcass. Reggie really went above and beyond to make our safari an unforgettable experience and I would recommend him to anybody in a heart beat! Truly a great guide. You'll find a lot of other overpriced tour companies offering the same package at triple the price. Samora Explorers offered us luxury to mid-level accommodation where we were served 3 course meals for much cheaper than all these other European based companies. They are a local company that actually cares about their employees. So much so that while everyone around us has these sad looking box lunches, we had fresh hot meals and had a bush picnic everyday. Overall, I highly recommend Samora Explorers. They are a great tour company with great guides and I can guarantee that you will not regret booking with them. Thank you to Iddy and Reggie for making our safari trip unforgettable.

The best safari - Our tour guide Henry is the super professional. He was rich in knowledge, experience, and based on his understanding of animal habits, he made our tour perfect. Thanks to his dedication, we could see the Big Five and the hunting scene despite the heavy rain. His ability to spot animals and induce animals to close positions is fantastic. He is perfect in every way as a safari guide, including knowledge, explanation, driving skills, and service. Highly recommended. Iddy planned our tour and actively supported whenever we need. Thanks to his efforts, we could enjoy and finalize the tour without any difficulty. I would definitely book a tour again with Henry and Iddy in another season.

Wonderful experience - Everything was perfect, communicating with Iddy was fluid and easy since the beginning! We are so happy with the hotels, the food (we really appreciate that we had good meals and not just boxes with cold sandwiches), the game drives.. We had a really good time with Regi, he was really the perfect guide and he did his best so that we have an amazing experience! He’s so passionate about nature, warmhearted and funny, we learned a lot with him! So thank you for everything!!
