Drive to Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park - Begin the day with a 6am pick-up from your hotel, setting off for Lake Manyara National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. Upon entering the park, the lush Acacia and Mahogany forests create an inviting atmosphere for the adventure ahead. The game drive continues until evening, with a break for a picnic lunch. Keep an eye out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. A highlight of Lake Manyara National Park is the tree-climbing lions, though spotting them requires a bit of luck. In the right season, the shoreline transforms into a pink spectacle with millions of flamingos. After the game drive, return to your Sunbright Tented Lodge for a delightful dinner.

Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, travel towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the scenic highland farms of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. Head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, a rich wildlife habitat featuring the Seronera River, which attracts a diverse array of wildlife. Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, embark on a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park. Later, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch. Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest collapsed volcanic crater, spans fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Surrounded by extinct volcanoes, the crater floor, dotted with watering holes, is home to approximately 30,000 animals. The eventful day concludes with a hearty dinner and a restful night at your accommodation.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, descend to the crater floor for a game drive. Expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and numerous birds. Bird species include eagles, vultures, flamingos in the Crater Lake, storks, bats, giant vultures, sacred ibis, kori bustards, blacksmith plovers, long-necked herons, and cattle eagles. After a picnic lunch at the scenic Hippo pool, begin the steep ascent to the crater’s top exit. With a 2-hour drive remaining to your accommodation in Karatu, the day concludes. A freshly prepared, delicious dinner awaits you at your chosen accommodation. After several days of safari, a good rest is essential. The next day marks the final leg of your safari.

Tarangire to Arusha

Tarangire National Park - The final day of your safari begins at 8:00 AM with a sumptuous breakfast. Today’s destination is Arusha via Tarangire National Park, where a half-day game drive awaits. Tanzania’s third-largest national park is renowned for its majestic baobab trees, which dwarf the animals beneath them. The Tarangire River, the park’s centerpiece, is famous for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. You may also see lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudus, buffaloes, oryx, elands, giraffes, and zebras. By mid-afternoon, head towards Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your preferred location by 6:30 PM. With an incredible experience and countless memories to cherish, it’s time to bid farewell to your team.
