• Tarangire National Park - Begin the journey with a hotel pick-up and travel south through Arusha to the prehistoric-like Tarangire National Park for a full day of game viewing. The Tarangire River, the heart of this park, is renowned for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds. During the dry season, numerous animals gather along the river’s vital waters. Arrive at the safari lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive through a landscape adorned with baobab trees and umbrella-thorn acacias. Visitors may encounter lions, leopards, cheetahs, lesser kudu, buffalo, oryx, eland, giraffes, and zebras. Besides the diverse wildlife, the park is celebrated for its ancient baobab trees and over 300 bird species. Enjoy a hot lunch at Tarangire Sopa Lodge, then continue with afternoon game viewing in the park.

Later in the afternoon, return and be dropped off at the hotel.
