Arusha- Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - Guests will be picked up from their Arusha hotel at 8:00 am for a three-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the park, followed by a drive to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115 km from Arusha and spans an area of 2,800 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which attracts a variety of wildlife. Major attractions include large herds of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. Visitors can also spot lions, leopards, and other wildlife.

Day 2: Serengeti Central (Central Seronera)

Serengeti National Park - After a hearty breakfast, guests will pack their luggage into the safari jeep and embark on an en-route game drive to the Serengeti, enjoying lunch inside the jeep. Along the way, they will witness the stunning views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater, arriving in the Serengeti around 3:00 pm. An evening game drive in central Serengeti offers the chance to see a beautiful sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the Seronera campsite within the Serengeti.

Central Serengeti to North (Kogatende)

Serengeti National Park - On this day, guests will rise early for a full breakfast before starting a game drive in the Serengeti. The driver will take them to the northern Serengeti, focusing on key areas to observe the wildebeest migration and its dramatic events. Recommended spots include the Mara River and Ndutu Plains. River crossings at Kogatende begin in July, with the mega herd settling in the area. From July to October, game viewing is exceptional, with daily river crossings likely. The herds cross back and forth over the river, following the rains and fresh grasses.

Serengeti Northern

Serengeti National Park - Guests will start their day early with a full breakfast before embarking on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The driver will guide them to key areas to follow the wildebeest migration. The Great Migration varies annually, with the best viewing opportunities from June to September. Wildebeest calving occurs from January to March. From July to September, the driver will take guests to northern Serengeti to witness the migration crossing the Mara River. Over a million and a half wildebeest travel year-round in search of fresh pastures and water. After a full day of game viewing, guests will return to their accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti National Park - Guests will wake at 5:45 am for an early breakfast and sunrise viewing in the Serengeti. After breakfast, they will enjoy a morning game drive until 11:30 am, then return to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack their belongings into the jeep. After lunch, they will continue the game drive in the Serengeti while heading to Ngorongoro Crater, staying overnight at Simba Campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Guests will rise at 5:30 am for breakfast before descending to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Here, they can see the Big Five and various bird species, including the black rhino. Lunch will be enjoyed inside the crater, surrounded by nature and flamingos. After a 6 to 7-hour game drive, guests will ascend from the crater, pack their luggage into the jeep, and return to Jambo Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. The day concludes with a walking tour in Mto wa Mbu village, offering insights into local life, banana plantations, and a taste of local cuisine.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - After breakfast, guests will head to Lake Manyara for a full day of game viewing. Inside the park, they can see tree-climbing lions and numerous flamingos attracted by the lake’s algae. A visit to a hot spring is also included. The day continues with a visit to a Maasai boma to learn about their culture and traditions, before returning to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay.
