Serengeti,my dream and my serendipity - We had 4 adults and 1 kid in private group. I booked the tour online without meeting the agent from Meru&Slopes, however, the Office agent is patient and well-organized our trip. we do trust each other withou physically meeting. Moreover, for our tour guide Mohamed who is really patient and knowledgable with the animals takes extra safety cautions, since we have kid on board. We all had best experience with him for 7 days trips all the time. I do appreciate his hard- work. Eventhough,we didnt see the mara river crossing,we truly had nice experience for migration safari. For the accommodation vise, all the lodges are well- furbished and up to mid-range standard. Meru&Slopes is highly recommended to everyone. I believe one day I will come back again for this beautiful and pure land.

An unforgettable safari experience! - I had an absolutely incredible time on this safari — everything exceeded my expectations! Our guide Samuel was exceptional: knowledgeable, kind, always in a good mood, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the best possible experience. We were lucky to see the Big Five, the Ugly Five, and even got to witness part of the Great Migration, all thanks to Samuel’s efforts — even though it was far from the usual areas. He always positioned the vehicle in the best spots for photography, waited patiently so everyone could take in the beauty of the animals and landscapes, and shared great explanations throughout the tour. Any group lucky enough to have him as a guide will be in for a real treat. I also want to mention our amazing cook, who prepared fresh and delicious meals every day — a real bonus after long hours on the road. As a solo traveler, I felt completely welcomed and taken care of. I 100% recommend this tour — thank you for such an unforgettable adventure! Bonus for the lunch views!

Best ever safari experience - We had a great time with our 7 days safari tour. We spot all of the big five and so many others: e.g. cheetah, hippo, a variety of bucks with the help of Jacob, our tour guide. He is truly great at what he does helping us find all of them by communicating with his connection through radio. With his over 20 yrs of experience being a safari guide, you can ask him anything and he will answer you without hesitation. All t accommodation was very comfortable and we slept well every night even though it was a long day on the rough road. There was a night at Nyota Luxury camp, we saw the lions walking around the field where we had dinner and heard them making their noise nearby during the night. The staff at each place we stay are friendly and helpful. If you follow their brief when you check in, you can make sure that you will be safe in the wild. I would not hesitate to recommend Meruslope if you would like to have a safari experience in Tanzania at a very reasonable budget and Jacob will be an excellent guide for everyone.

Great experience - Stanley, our tour guide, was incredibly friendly and professional. He explained our itinerary in detail and went above and beyond in spotting wildlife during the safari — we were able to get remarkably close to the animals, which made the experience unforgettable. Almachius, the operating manager, handled an issue we encountered with care and ensured it was resolved to our satisfaction. We truly appreciated the effort and dedication from the whole team.

Amazing time in Tanzania! - My time in Tanzania was absolutely amazing. Prior to the trip Almachius was prompt with replies every time I had a question. Stanley was a wonderful guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very patient with an immature group of 4 from China. Bonge is a great chef, his meals were delicious and plentiful. We saw the Big 5 in addition to many other animals and birds. Camping was as expected. Rustic, but with flush toilets, running water, and cold showers that I would call invigorating rather than frigid. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I would book with Meru Slopes again without hesitation.

Amazing experience - First time on a safari and it was beyond anything we expected thanks for the staff at Meru. Kelvin helped coordinate the safari and was super accommodating to our early arrival and making sure the driver was there on time and our room was ready when we got to the hotel. Our driver Mohamed was fantastic, best Safari guide!! He has lots of knowledge about the animals, parks, tribes and great stories overall. Our chef was amazing, the food was tasty everyday. Overall an amazing experience, we are grateful for everyone at meru for their hospitality and kindness.

Experienced driver is the key to Serengeti - In the vast and beautiful place like Serengeti, it is crucial to be in the right place at the right time. Or driver Mohamed magically brought us to the right spot every time something exciting was about to happen, and then other groups would join later as well. Find professional driver like him, and you'll see the best that Serengeti has to offer.
