Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Arusha - Following an early breakfast, head directly to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for an exciting crater tour, with a packed picnic lunch provided. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife destinations, known for its rich biodiversity. Here, there is an opportunity to spot the rare black rhinoceros and enjoy lunch near the hippo pool, with a stunning view of the lake and numerous hippos cooling off in the water.

After the tour, begin the drive back to Arusha, with drop-off at the Arusha Inn Hotel or a similar location.

Materuni Waterfalls and Coffee Tour

Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Tour - After breakfast, the tour guide will pick up guests from the Gateway Hotel to embark on a scenic journey to the waterfall. The route meanders through valleys and hills covered in tropical rainforest, passing coffee, banana, avocado, and other local trees. Enjoy a traditional lunch prepared by the Chagga community. Next, travel to Chemka Hot Springs, a bumpy, winding drive offering glimpses of authentic Tanzanian life along the way. At the hot springs, guests can swim, relax, soak up the sun, and have lunch if desired, before returning to Arusha in the afternoon.
