Fantastic day out exploring Siciliy - From start to finish a smooth and well run tour.
Thoroughly enjoyed exploring the Alcantara Gorge, Randazzo and the exceptional wine tasting.
Aleksandra was a great host and provided a thorough guide to all of the places we visisted.
Would highly recommend if you wish to get out and see the real Sicily behind Taotmina and Naxos.

Nice and well planned tour! - Called the day before to check in, got very nice treatment and everything matched perfectly. A clean and fresh bus, nice driver and a Guide who spoke German and English. We went around first so we got to see much more than we understood. Beautiful views and old parts of Sicily where we got to go to market, visit small villages and finish the big vineyard!
Highly recommend this tour!

Very nice and varied tour - This tour is very varied, as you first drive to Randazzo. There you can explore the town and the market. Then you go on to the Alcantara Gorge, which is really worth seeing. Renate tells and explains the story, but other questions are also answered patiently in German, English and Italian.
Bus driver Paolo drove safely and on time.
At the end there is a wine tasting on the program.
It was the first time I did it, but it was very interesting and delicious 😋.
This tour from SAT is highly recommended! And with Renate as a tour guide and Paolo as a bus driver, it was a pleasure.
Thank you very much!

Interesting small group excursion - It was a beautiful trip, in a small group. Lucky that there weren't so many visitors to the Alcantara Gorge in the morning. The tour guide gave us very interesting cultural information about Randazzo, there also visited the market. Afterwards we drove to a winery.
During the trip we learned a lot about Sicily and about local life.
It was just great 👍👍👍

Great impressions & delicious Etna wines - Today we made the day trip Randazzo-Alcantara & WineTasting. This varied and very well organized tour showed us much of the original Sicily. The very competent and friendly tour guide Alexandra and the confident, good driver helped us to a relaxed, interesting and impressive holiday experience. This trip is highly recommended.

Super day trip - Great day trip! A good mix of movement and transport
Getting a real Sicily douche with Alexandra as tour guide
Perfect for the first day Sicily
Interesting information and beautiful impressions of the island i.e. Taormina/ Etna region
Alfio as a chauffeur is admirable with what peace and fluidity he drives through the mountains
The money is well invested

The highlight was Etna - The bus picked us up around half past eight in the morning. Fresh bus with air conditioning. Safe bus driver and very funny guide, who guided in Italian, English and German.
Very interesting with Alcantara, but we did not go down, tried to get some breakfast, but there was nothing gluten-free to buy, so we had a coffee.
Taking the train a bit over pistachios was a cozy change of pace before we again continued with the bus. All the way up to the cable car. On the way we saw the ravages of the lava including a house where we only saw the roof.
We took the cable car up to the jeeps, which were like buses and followed dirt roads up to the top. Then we walked around a crater with a guide. Got lots of useful info and felt the warm sand. Then came the fog and we were happy that we had seen the view before.
Lovely experience. Tip - go all the way to the top.

Excellent guide & driver, loved Alacanta Gorge, Randazzo street market...useless - We enjoyed the scenery from the comfortable coach and the on-time aspect of the entire day. Since I am a walker, I loved our first stop and could have enjoyed more time there. Although the 2nd stop has a lovely cathedral, the market was full of junk or produce (nothing a tourist wants) and the cheese & sausage tasting silly since we were headed to the winery where they served exactly that. I would have much preferred a pasta with our wine but the mushrooms with the antipasta were delicious. The wine, not so much. Grounds were fantastic with the caves, the dinning room set beautifully and service quite good. Overall, a good value day tour, thank you.

Heavy rain prevented us from visiting Mt Etna properly - Our tour went ahead despite the forecast of heavy rain. So it was armed with umbrellas and rain jackets that we ventured out. It rained constantly which meant we couldn’t get down into the gorge at Alacantara but took some photos from the top. At Randazzo, the markets were OK but nothing special. We were a large group of 47 and by the time I got to the food tasting, little was left. As the day went on the rain got heavier. At 1900 metres on Mt Etna, we exited the coach just long enough to take some photos from under our umbrellas and then opted for the tour guides recommendation to have lunch in the restaurant further down the mountain. Those who wanted to walk around at 1900 metres or go to the top we’re very disappointed, including us. We checked with the SAT office in Taormina that the tour was proceeding the day before and we spoke about the forecast for poor weather. They decided to still go ahead rather than cancel the tour, which had been cancelled in the previous days. We would like to mention that our tour guide, Alfredo, and our bus driver were fantastic.
