Great time learning how to make this Sicilian classic - My wife and I had a fun time learning how to make arancini. Alessandra was a great teacher. We gained a whole new appreciation for the talent and patience it takes to make this Sicilian treat. Enjoyed eating the fruits of our labor after class with a glass of great local wine. Would definitely recommend the class as something different to do while in beautiful Taormina.

Arancino par excellence! - Francesca is a very friendly and open cook, she taught us very well how to make our own Arancinos. We had a lot of fun and there was even life music in the restaurant! Very memorable evening for all of us. We would definitely recommend her and the course to anyone!

Educational, fun & very delicious 😀 - Paulo was our chef for the afternoon. Wonderful chef who gave us a one to one lesson which was very fortunate for us, special attention & so much more food to enjoy. Everything was clearly explained & good banter along the way too. Wine & recipes to follow and we could sit & savour our food for as long as we wanted afterwards. Additionally, we were given free ricotta cannoli as a treat for dessert.

Taking home a piece of culture - This was a great experience! Our instructor was knowledgeable and I could tell that she really enjoys her profession. With only one other person in our class, it made the experience more personal and she was able to attend to all of our questions. If you want to take home a bit of Sicilian culture, and meet new people, taking a cooking course I a great way to go

Great arancini-making experience - This experience was a lot of fun. We spent three hours with Paolo and Francesca learning how to make arancini, and then having a leisurely lunch with our creations and a carafe of wine, followed by cannolis and limoncello. A great way to spend an afternoon. Paolo and Francesca made the experience very entertaining as well as informative.

Sort of fun but could be better, not a great value - Perhaps I expected too much based on great reviews so I’ll leave my thoughts. It was fun but not an over the top experience. I’d probably put the money towards a really nice meal or one of the food tours where walk and taste food others have made. Our class had 11 but they hold up to 20. The staff was nice and the venue pretty but after assembling your arancini there is a wait for the one deep fryer to cook each person’s creations separately. The middles were still cool or lukewarm, not hot. Maybe they could cook as long as they’d like bc so many to process? My friend didn’t even want to eat hers. Items for stuffing were already fully cooked so likely not a good safety issue, although they had set out awhile good while, already on the table on our arrival. Possibly a better value for those that could take leftovers with them for another meal and heat up. We’d rather buy a good arancini for 3-5 euros.
