a great experience - It was so much fun! We arrived to music playing and the restaurant full of patrons. We actually put together our meal in the middle of the restaurant which was so much fun! We took our dishes once prepared and placed them in the same ovens the chefs were using. I am not sure how they coped with that, but everyone was so nice and friendly. It was so much fun and delicious! Well worth the time and money.

Now THAT’S Italian! - My boyfriend and I decided to do this last minute and we have been talking nonstop about how we would do it again. Chef Palo and Francesca were so funny and great teachers. It’s a very easy hands on experience and you get to drink wine while you do it and meet new people from around the world! Now that’s Italian!

An excellent hands on, must-do, cooking experience - This was a fantastic, hands-on cooking class! We arrived via cruise ship to the cruise port in Messina and took a taxi to Taormina, which was about 40 minutes; the drive was quite beautiful along the coast. Upon arriving we were warmly greeted and had a seat while waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive. The chef introduced himself and we took a short stroll to the market where we were provided an overview of the amazing local fresh fruits and vegetables! We then moved to the restaurant, Ristorante Pirandello 2.0, which is a beautiful open air restaurant and kitchen. For the next couple of hours we were immersed in hands-on cooking pasta, eggplant lasagna, fish, eating and enjoying the view. This is a must-do and the entire experience was fantastic.

Great fun and food! - I had never done a cooking class before and didn’t know what to expect. It was wonderful! Paulo, our chef, is entertaining, engaging, and a great teacher. We had so much fun and learned so much. We prepared pasta, white fish, eggplant casserole, and a swordfish wrap. All delicious! I highly recommend this class.

A real Sicilian cooking workshop. Varied, instructive and very pleasant. - The group was large, because the rain fell from the sky that day, nevertheless there was plenty to do for everyone who wanted. Not so much actual cooking, but the preparations. We started, despite the rain, with a visit to the local food market, fun and interesting! Beforehand antipasta and then we made different shapes of pasta, a delicious eggplant parmigiana and the typical Sicilian swordfish skewers. The wine, of course, is plentiful. The company was international and therefore very entertaining. Big compliments to the chefs of the restaurant who accompanied us with enthusiasm and humor during this afternoon. It was a great afternoon! Highly recommended!

Fun and informative! - Informative, fun, entertaining! Lots of hands on prep (and time spent washing hands with 2 sinks for 12 people) but as the location was in a restaurant not any real hands on cooking over heat as in other experiences I have had. I will try the recipes at home once received. All delicious!
