• Taormina - A personal tour guide will collect guests from their accommodation or port in the Taormina area to embark on a delightful private journey to Europe’s highest active volcano. Traveling in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle through quaint mountain villages, guests will enjoy stunning views of the Sicilian countryside, abundant with orange and lemon groves, olive and almond trees, and buildings constructed from lava stone.

The first stop is Zafferana Etnea, a charming village on the slopes of Etna, renowned for its honey. Visitors will explore a local honey shop and sample the rich produce of the volcanic soil, including honey, olive oil, olives, wines, and liqueurs. It is advisable to wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and bring extra layers, such as warm clothing and a windbreaker or rain jacket, to accommodate changing weather conditions.

• Mount Etna - The tour continues with an ascent to “Rifugio Sapienza” station at 2000 meters. Here, guests can explore the famous Silvestri Craters, enjoy breathtaking views, browse souvenir shops offering lava gifts, and relax in a bar or restaurant. An optional ascent by cable car and jeep with an authorized Alpine guide to 3000 meters is available. If the tour begins in Messina, the Sartorius Craters will be visited.

After exploring Mt. Etna, the guide will drive guests to one of the finest wineries on the Etna slope. At the winery, guests will tour the estate, observe grape cultivation, and visit the cellars while an expert sommelier explains the winemaking process and the history of this family-run winery. A traditional, hearty lunch featuring locally produced cheeses, salami, prosciutto, fresh bread, olives, homemade olive oil, and a traditional pasta dish will be served. A professional sommelier will offer four glasses of Sicilian Etna red and white wines.
