- Cameron Valley Tea House - The Cameron tea Plantations, known for producing the renowned Cameron Valley tea, synonymous with Malaysia’s premium highland tea, encompass four tea gardens totaling 1,600 acres of lush, hilly terrain in Cameron Highlands, acquired over several decades.
The Bharat Company began in 1933, initially selling unprocessed tea leaves to a nearby factory.
In 1952, under the leadership of Dato Brijkishore Agarwal, Bharat took over the factory at the Agricultural Research Centre in Cameron Highlands on a contract basis, launching their first processed and packaged tea under the brand “Chop Rusa.”
By 1963, the company had acquired the Shalimar Estate, complete with its own tea-processing factory. By this time, the company and its products were well-established, boasting a thriving sales network with major tea wholesalers.
With a commitment to consistent quality control, Cameron Bharat Plantations became a preferred and significant supplier of bulk tea to major tea blenders, including renowned tea brands in Malaysia.
