• Wadi Darbat - Situated in the east, a visit to Wadi Darbat reveals one of Dhofar’s most surprising locations. Nestled in the mountains overlooking Khor Rori, just beyond the Taqah coast, this natural park offers stunning views of waterfalls, numerous camels, lakes, mountains, caves, and lush greenery. During the Khareef season (monsoon), mountain waters rejuvenate the Wadi, creating spectacular waterfalls that cascade from 30 meters (100 ft.) and fill cave chambers.
• Al Mughsail Beach - Found in the west, Al Mughsail Beach is renowned for its blowholes. It is a must-visit beach in the Dhofar Region. Here, seawater is forced through an underground channel, erupting like a geyser from the cliff. The spout can reach several meters high, depending on the wave strength. A photo stop at the Mughsail lagoon is planned, where migratory birds can be observed.
