Foum Zguid - After traversing the valley, the route follows the historic Dakar rally track, crossing the dry salt lake of Iriqui. Beyond the lake lies the western edge of the Sahara. Erg Chigaga presents a stunning expanse of golden dunes stretching 40 km and reaching heights of 300 meters. The sunset over the dunes is breathtaking. The camp offers traditional nomadic hospitality with mint tea, a nomadic dinner accompanied by music and a bonfire, and overnight accommodation in a nomad tent.
Erg Chigaga, Camel Trekking
Erg Chigaga - Witnessing the sunrise at Erg Chigaga is an unforgettable experience, as the golden light dances across the dunes. Following breakfast, the day begins with a dromedary trek. Riding through the dunes on a dromedary is a delightful adventure. After a few hours, the trek reaches a grove of Tamarind trees, where guides prepare a traditional nomadic lunch of kebabs and fresh bread. The journey continues back through the dunes to the camp, where a serene sunset and a delightful dinner with tea await.
Erg Chigaga, Mhamid, Draa Valley, Zagora
Zagora - After breakfast at the camp, the journey follows the old Paris-Dakar Rally track to the Iriki oasis and then to Mhamid, where the highway begins. This marks the start of the Draa Valley, a river basin between Ouarzazate and M’Hamid, home to millions of date palms in season from September to December. By evening, Zagora is reached, with dinner and an overnight stay in a Riad.
Draa Valley, Jebel Saghro, Dades Gorges

After breakfast, the journey continues towards Nkob via the Jebel Saghro Pass, an ancient route reaching 2,283 meters, featuring unique rock formations. Guides lead to the best viewpoints for these spectacular formations. The route then enters the Dades Valley, known for its unusual rock formations, oases, and Berber villages. A walk in the gorge is followed by a stay in a local bed and breakfast, with dinner and tea in the evening.

Skoura - After breakfast, the journey leaves the Dades Gorge, heading west to Rose Valley. Traveling through Skoura and Kelaa M’Gouna, known for roses and handcrafted daggers, the route continues through The Valley of 1000 Kasbahs. Ait Ben Haddou - The valley opens into a high desert landscape, home to Ait Benhaddou, where lunch is enjoyed.
