Join one of the daily dive excursions designed for certified divers. These featured dives are conducted from the shore and include guidance from an experienced PADI Professional, ensuring a personalized experience with a small group of up to 5 divers per guide.
Playa Chica is a primary dive location, offering up to 10 different dives accessible directly from the shore, tailored to various experience levels. The site features a shallow plateau that transitions into diverse underwater landscapes, including mountains, slopes, reefs, caverns, and volcanic rock formations, with depths ranging from 1-40 meters. The marine life at Playa Chica is remarkable, featuring a variety of species from schools of small fish to large groupers, barracudas, tunas, seahorses, rays, angel sharks, cuttlefish, octopuses, sponges, flounders, and crabs. The vibrant marine life is complemented by visibility ranging from 15-40 meters.
The selection of dive sites is determined by daily water and weather conditions, as well as the group’s experience level.
- This excursion is only for certified divers with recent dive experience within the last 12 months. If you are not holding a certification yet, please look at our Discover Scuba Diving Package where no experience is needed.
- Minimum age is 10 years.
- Minimum certification level is Junior Scuba Diver (or similar).
- Divers must present their certification card (digital or printed).
- Diving requires certain weather conditions. In the unlikely event the activity should be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
- No flying within 18 hours after two consecutive dives. Your departure flight should be not earlier than 6am the following day.
- You have to be medically fit for diving. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions might prevent you from diving (no asthma, heart problems or other serious conditions). Please consult your doctor.

We meet you directly at the dive/snorkel site in Playa Chica, Puerto del Carmen. After booking we will send you the exact meeting location and parking recommendation in case you arrive by car.

Great experience - I highly recommend Scuba Legends for your diving activities in Lanzarote.
After my previous experience with them in 2022 I had no doubt in booking my dives again with Scuba Legends. They work with small groups and ensure everyone enjoys the dives. I have had the pleasure of diving with Raul and Igor. First day shore diving was with Raul and were truly enjoyable dives. Lots of sea life and very relaxing dives. The snorkelling tour with my wife afterwards was also a very fun activity. Next day boat dives with Igor were also very enjoyable and a good experience. I highly appreciated the flexibility to adjust the dives slightly to meet my preferences. Many thanks again for the good experiences and hopefully see you soon again.

- Raul is an expert octopus spotter! I had mentioned I have never seen an octopus in the wild before and he made a special effort to point them out to me. We saw 5 octopi today!! One of them was crawling along rocks while another nearby made an ink squirt! We also saw 5 seahorses! This man’s ability to notice animals is incredible. Thank you Raul, I had a blast!

- We had the pleasure of diving with Chantal, and I can only say: absolutely recommendable! Not only was she extremely competent, but she was also incredibly patient and empathetic. From the very beginning, I felt safe and in good hands.
The equipment was well maintained and ready for use at any time. During the dive, every question, no matter how small, was answered, and the explanations were clear and understandable. Playa Chica dives - This was my first experience of diving in Lanzarote and I definitely would love to return. Communication when booking was excellent and informative. Our instructor Igor was very friendly, knowledgable and attentive, I did 4 dives in the same location (Playa Chica) and every one was different. The underwater views and marine life was so diverse and beautiful. Thank you Scuba legends for this amazing experience, I am already dreaming of the next time!

Unforgettable - Absolutely amazing diving experience with Raúl and Igor!
We explored the Underwater Museum, the Blue Hole, and several wrecks — each dive was unforgettable. The team made everything fun, safe, and well-organized. The equipment was top-quality and very well maintained. I Highly recommend this dive center.

Diving forever! - What a great week we had with Scuba Legends in Lanzarote. Great service from the start, clear and friendly communication and uncomplicated organization. When we arrived in Puerto del Carmen, we met Raul, an extremely friendly, humorous and patient instructor, with whom we were able to do our 10 dives. We particularly appreciated the small diving groups, especially for us as beginners, which allowed us to slowly develop our diving skills without any pressure.
Each of our dives was a unique experience, from angel sharks to stingrays, everything was shown to us by Raul.
We are already looking forward to our next experience with Scuba Legends!

A very nice dive with Raul and Pete at Playa Chico, to bad I couldn’t do the second day , however I will be back - Very good and professional 👌👌👌and they listen very well to your wishes. Chantal is always there to help you as well her instructors and DM’s ,, keep up the good work 👌👌👌

Amazing dive, would definitely go back! - I had such an amazing time scuba diving on this trip. I’m still quite new to my certification and so got a little nervous before hand but was very quickly put at ease.
Raul was a brilliant instructor, clearly and patiently explained everything we’d be doing, made sure we were all super happy before starting and then went on to lead a super chilled, exciting dive. I think we saw 5 octopuses as well as so much more.
Everything was really well organised, clear instructions, early dive (it was a lot quieter), well maintained equipment and just really lovely people.

What an amazing experience - I had the pleasure to dive with Elva one on one from scuba legends, we had the privilege to dive a early bird and Elva was fantastic and as much excited if not more then me, 3 dives that day and Elva had more then enough energy and enthusiasm for the both of us. so professional and knowledgeable,
My last day we headed to the underwater museum with Raul and again such a great guild, he too impressed me with his knowledge and dedication to give me the best possible experience, all in all a fantastic experience and company, thank you !!!

Top for people who are just starting out or just want to dive once a year. Thanks to my dive center Scuba Legends - Thanks to the good diving instructors, I was able to have my first good experiences in the sea. Playa Chica is a top territory for beginners and advanced. The air and water temperature is about 20 degrees in January. Hood and gloves are therefore not needed.From the shore depths of over 30m can be reached quickly,with good visibility, changing structure and a variety of fish species you dive along the bay to one of the exits.(Beach,or stairs)
