• Ensemble Hazrati Imam - This ensemble includes the Barakkhan Madrasah and the Museum of Quran, where the original 7th-century Othman Quran, written on deer skin, is preserved.
• Minor Mosque - Located in the new part of Tashkent, near the UzExpoCentre and Hotel International, the Minor Mosque opened on October 1, 2014, just before the Eid holiday. It has quickly become a favorite spot for evening strolls among city residents. Situated on the Ankhor channel’s embankment, it is surrounded by a beautifully landscaped area.
• State Museum “In Memory of the Victims of Repression” - This unique museum in the Uzbek capital is dedicated to remembering those who were killed or imprisoned due to repressions and persecutions.
• Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Art - The museum’s collection includes over 7,000 samples of applied arts, such as handmade embroidery, skull-caps (tyubeteyka), jewelry, carpets, and other crafts from the early 19th century to the present.
• Gur Emir Mausoleum - A significant architectural ensemble of the medieval East, the Gur Emir was constructed in the southwestern part of Samarkand at the start of the 15th century.
• Registan - Registan Square, located in the heart of ancient Samarkand, is renowned worldwide for its magnificent architectural ensemble, a monument to oriental architecture.
• Bibi Khanym Mosque - Completed in 1404, the Bibi-Khanym Mosque was Emperor Tamerlane’s grand project, once the largest in Central Asia, accommodating nearly 10,000 worshippers. Despite earthquake damage, its 50m-high minarets, blue ceramic-decorated portal, and majestic dome remain landmarks for miles. Opposite stands the mausoleum initiated by Bibi Khanym, the emperor’s favorite, who wished to be buried near the mosque named after her.
• Hazrat Khizr Mosque - Located south of the Afrasiab fort, the mosque covers an area of 30 x 16 m. It stands on a natural elevation, accessible by steep stairs, and consists of an aivan and khanaka. The mosque’s aivan (an indoor canopy on columns) is richly adorned with ornaments.
• Shah-i-Zinda - The Shakhi Zinda complex in Samarkand is a mysterious and unique architectural monument. It features rows of tombs in sparkling blue hues, harmoniously arranged along narrow medieval streets. Shakhi Zinda comprises eleven mausoleums built consecutively in the 14th and 15th centuries.
• Ulugh Beg Observatory - Among Samarkand’s historical monuments, the observatory, constructed by Ulugbek in 1428-1429, holds a special place. Built on a hill at the base of Chupanata altitude, it was a unique construction for its time. The observatory’s foundation was a giant goniometer (vertical circle) with a radius of 40.212 meters and an arc length of 63 meters. The main instrument, a sextant, was precisely aligned along the meridian from south to north.
• Saint Daniel’s Tomb - An ancient legend surrounds the Old Testament prophet Daniel, known to Christians as Daniel and to Muslims as Khoja Daniyar. A descendant of King Solomon, Daniel lived in the 5th-4th centuries BC in Jerusalem and was gifted with the ability to prophesy.
• Lyab-i-Hauz - The architectural ensemble Lyabi-Khauz consists of three large monumental buildings: Kukeldash Madrasah to the north, khanaka and Nodir Divan-begi to the west and east. The square’s south side was closed with Trade Street. The center of old Bukhara’s large ensemble became a reservoir.
• Ulugh Beg Observatory - The Ulugbek Observatory is a significant medieval observatory, built near Samarkand in 1428-1429. It is a round, three-story building with a diameter of 46.4 meters and a height of 30 meters. A marble sextant was housed here, and the device, located underground, is well-preserved.
• Abdulaziz-Khan Madrasah - Opposite the Ulugbek Madrasah is the Abdullazizkhan Madrasah, built by Abdullazizkhan in 1651-1652. It is the last large Madrasah in Bukhara, featuring a typical composition with a four-ayvans yard, but with an unusual divergent fan of hudj groups after side ayvans and cupola buildings on the central axis.
• Mir-i-Arab Madrasa - The construction of the Miri-Arab Madrasah dates back to the 16th century and is associated with Sheikh Abdallah Yamani (from Yemen), the spiritual guide of the Sheybanids.
• Great Minaret of the Kalon - The Kalyan Minaret is a historical symbol of the city.
• Trading Domes - Bukhara is renowned not only for its mosques, Ark Fortress, and the majestic Kalyan Minaret but also for its trading domes, which stretch in procession from Lyabi-Khauz to the Miri-Arab Madrasah.
• Hamman Bozori Kord - (Optional) The Bozori Kord Hammam, built in the 14th century, has been in continuous use. The hammam experience is memorable, immersing visitors in centuries-old traditions and offering a glimpse into the “real Bukhara,” beyond souvenir shops and tour guides.
• Samanid Mausoleum - Among Bukhara’s medieval buildings, the Samanids Mausoleum is particularly noteworthy. This world-famous architectural masterpiece was constructed at the end of the ninth century.
• Chasma Ayub Mausoleum - The Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum, a religious building in central Bukhara, includes a mausoleum and a holy spring. Today, it houses a Museum of Water. The mausoleum was built by order of the Karakhanid rulers in the 12th century.
• Moschea Bolo-khauz - Located opposite the Ark, the Emir’s fortress, the complex includes a reservoir, Friday mosque, and minaret.
• Ark of Bukhara - The Ark-Citadel served as the residence of Bukhara khans. Recent excavations reveal the citadel has been on this site since the 4th century BC.
• Khiva - Visit the Ichan-Kala Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
• Human House Shop - A store offering products from Uzbek and Russian designers, including clothing, shoes, accessories, dishes, fabrics, carpets, souvenirs, paintings, and more.
