- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Children under the age of 5 years are unfortunately not permitted in the Lighthouse due to safety regulations
- Please note that there is a 5-15 minute uphill walk to reach Cape Bruny Lighthouse
- The road leading into South Bruny National Park is unsealed, we recommend driving with care and adjusting to the conditions
- A National Parks Pass is required to enter South Bruny National Park. These can be purchased online from Tasmania Parks and Wildlife or at the Parks Pass ticketing machine in the car park at South Bruny National Park.
- We recommend arriving early to allow plenty of time to walk up to Cape Bruny Lighthouse
- Toilets are available near the Cape Bruny Lighthouse Museum

Starting Point: Cape Bruny Lighthouse.
Directions: Self-drive to South Bruny, Cape Bruny car park, allow 10 minutes to walk up to the lighthouse to begin your tour. It takes approximately 35 mins from Alonnah and 75 mins from the Ferry terminal on Bruny Island.

A little history and an amazing view. - If you like a little history and an amazing view then well worth booking. Guide was a local with a real knack for delivering history that even my 8 year old was interested in.

A fascinating tour about lighthouses & their keepers in this rugged landscape. - We had a wonderful experience on our tour. We learnt of many very interesting facts & information about how this lighthouse operated & about other lighthouses in Australia. It was fascinating to learn of the life of the lighthouse keepers & their families in this rugged isolated location. Our guide was very personable and obviously very fit.

Bruny Lighthouse Experience - Interested in seeing the lighthouse cos I read the book a few years back. Seeing all the crystals which reflect the light was amazing, plus the view from the balcony spectacular. It was also interesting to see where the lighthouse keepers lived whilst on the island plus the weather conditions and remoteness they endured. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly as well. Highly recommend this tour.

Well worth doing - Alex and I had a great experience on the Bruny Lighthouse tour. We were the only two participants and our guide was, friendly, knowledgable and great company. The views from the top were spectacular and the history was interesting and in many ways astounding. Loved it.

Fantastic lighthouse tour and views - What a fantastic opportunity. Where else can you climb a lighthouse and get such fantastic 360degree views.
Matt, our guide was very knowledgeable and informative.
I would recommend this little sojourn to anyone who ventures down this far.

Spectacular View- Gem of Bruny Island - Spectacular 360 degree view with guided tour. Shawn was very kind sharing facts and history behind the lighthouse building and surroundings. It was really worth visiting light house...I highly recommend to visit if you are at Bruny Island.

Overpriced - Lighthouse is positioned in a beautiful roughed coastline with great views. The tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and was great to see the second oldest lighthouse in Australia.
Unfortunately l think the price is too much compared to other lighthouse tours we have been on and we had a discount through bookme.
