Full eyes and heart ❤️❤️ - A huge THANK YOU to our driver Tonton Mourad 😉😅, for this sharing of knowledge of his region, his country, his culture, his traditions, (thanks for the workshop cheche😅) , the return to music, happy mix here again of traditions😅 O Mary now she knows, all the good that Tunisia does 😅... Anyway... Mourad you contributed greatly to the success of this beautiful day rich in magnificent discoveries...💗💗 Special mention at the time spent in the desert and the oasis of the hot spring, after quad biking, (again accompanying at the top 😊)

Great choice of activities, highly recommended. - A very nice experience. We have been picked up at 6.20am. Then we drove for around 1 hour before stopping for a coffee. At that stop our guide has introduced himself and let us know the plan for the day. Then we have been taken to another hidden gem in the mountains (not mentioned in the itinerary, so it was a pleasant surprise). After we have drove to the dessert in Ksar Ghilane, where we have been given clear instructions and let known what time to be back to the car. You have a choice of choosing whether to ride camels or quads (extra cost) but no one is going to pressure you.
Then we went for lunch, and after we left dor Matmata. Beautiful places, full of history. Our guide has spoken in French but also translated in English for my husband and I, which we really appreciated.
After that we have been taken to another two beautiful view points (again, not mentioned in the itinerary but still beautiful) and returned to hotel around 7PM. A huge thank you to our driver and guide which made the day pleasantly and funny. It was really worth the money and it is highly recommended. Please bare in mind that it will take the whole day but it is a really good experience.

Tour guide let it down - We booked this with Get Your Guide
There was just myself , sister and another person who had booked. The tour is really worth doing but unfortunately our guide let it down
He did not introduce himself, played loud Arab dance music the whole time even though we asked for him to turn it down, and had the window open most of the time blowing on us in the back. Our tour was switched to the sunset tour and half way there we stopped he showed us a map and insisted we needed to hire quad bikes to see the sunset at the oasis
We refused and when we arrived he told us we would be stuck there for four hours if we did not hire the quad bikes which turned out to be untrue as the hire was just for 45 mins. We actually hiked out across the beautiful sand dunes to watch and visited the hotels that were there chatting to the owners and the tour was finished up with a lovely Tunisian meal with music and dancing .
The places we stopped on the way was interesting but the guide gave little info about it
If you book this tour we suggest you request a guide called Khalid Metfar who we had on a different tour and was lovely

Long but worth seeing 🤣 - It's been a long day. But you also get shown a lot. It was a nice day. Especially the quad tour in the desert was a lot of fun ☺️

Very mixed by the oasis of Ksar Ghilane - We were praised for the beauty of the Ksar Ghilane oasis. Very disappointed and mixed, a kind of greenish slob with questionable cleanliness, some shops. Far from the dream clichés...

Mixed experience - A little disappointed, a little lame camel ride that doesn’t last much time it starts maybe 15min to stop for 10min and it resumes to finish.
It would be nice to have lunch in a real local village instead of this place built for tourists. The meal was very light for our table of 6. A guy in the group apparently had money stolen by one of the guides in the SUV. You learn two three things here and there but I don’t know a slightly weird atmosphere shared by the whole group I was with. The landscapes are beautiful etc but it is really a lot of km for some views and little info. A distance between the guide and us.

Magical place, but... - SUBLIME we do not regret the 4h go and 4h return road ,and stops ... Thanks to Frifri, our super driver😉!
Ms stay q 2h30-45 at the oasis, (including 1h for lunch: couscous is a killing incident!! And those who prepare and serve it are kind..🙏🏼) . We thought we had more time. Feelings in a hurry, even a little oppressed...
Timed from the parking ., not 3min to enjoy the arrival in this MAGICAL place. (Time is money...)
The camel top! Ms, 20min max of "walk". 20-30mîn to swim (few people in March👍🏼, hot water ..): ms you have to speed , because there is the meal... not seen the fort... really too little enjoy Ksar Ghuilaine which is so beautiful!
(yes, the cloud of quad as soon as you arrive, contrast vmt...).

A little disappointed by this excursion - We had heard about Ksar Ghuilaine's oasis and the hot spring to bathe in. In fact it is only a large greenish pool where you dare hardly swim
