The snorkeling was amazing, we were fortunate to have water as smooth as glass. Great Boat Captain Jack and awesome first mates Sarah and Marlee! Everyone enjoyed the day!!!

We’ve been on many snorkel trips and this one was by far the best. Staff are very knowledgeable and professional. Equipment is in excellent condition. Perhaps it is new, I didn’t ask, but I had no trouble with my goggles and snorkel mouthpiece. In the past, I’ve had trouble. Also, the location being in Tavernier was perfect bc we are staying in Islamorada. We snorkeled the Hens and Chicks Reef where we saw terrific coral and lots of snorkel fish and barracuda. Very enjoyable!

Staff was amazing. It was really hard to swim out to where I thought we needed to swim (I'm in good shape). It was hyped that we'd definitely see sharks and maybe a turtle or dolpin, etc, but only saw a few fish - which was disappointing though I totally understand it is out of your control.

The crew, boat and snacks/drinks was solid. We were disappointed booking a trip to the reef (the day before) and having to snorkel the grass flats (minimal fish no other marine life). The grass flats should have been discounted as the experience is much different than the reef. We totally understand safety is a concern but booking ahead we would have had to lose our deposit opting to not swim at the grass flats. It was pretty underwhelming and not any different than the small amount of fish we see in the marina near our condo. When we asked about switching to a different tour, staff told us it wouldn’t be an option later in the week. We had to book the same tour with another company to be able to snorkel the reef, doubling our cost for our family. I’m not sure there’s much else that could be done but it was disappointing. Now, having snorkeled the reef, the grass flats were a wildly different experience and should be discounted in some way versus the reef.

We went to the bay side due to high winds. Unfortunately it was just a miserable trip. It was cold from the wind, water kept getting in the snorkels because of the waves and only 2 of my kids saw some grunts. Not really anything to see. Most of the people on the boat stayed in the water for less than half the time. It was nice to offer for guests to go the next day as a complimentary trip but unfortunately we were leaving the next day. It would have been better if they would have canceled the trip. The conditions were not good on the bay side either.
