Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi - Old Tbilisi (Georgian: ძველი თბილისი, dzveli t’bilisi) was an administrative district (raioni) in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, from 2007 to 2013. Although “Old Tbilisi” has long referred to a historical part of the city, it was only in 2007 that it became a distinct administrative entity, incorporating several historical neighborhoods previously part of the Mtatsminda-Krtsanisi, Isani-Samgori, and Didube-Chughureti districts. The district was dissolved in 2013, with its areas distributed among other divisions of the capital.
